Religious Faith
One point of view I'd like people to consider is that nowadays sociology has taken the role of religion in a belief system. Many religious people simply believe in what they're taught according to specific interpretations of their holy books. However, many people simply believe in media or when someone tells them that "science" discovered this or have proven that, without checking sources, reading thesis, verifying references or even trying to reproduce experiments. So people simply believe blindly in science that same way they believe blindly in religion. I guess the problem about religion vs sociology is about thinking with your …show more content…
Science is a tool used in order to organize knowledge and use that knowledge to generate testable hypotheses about the natural world. A testable hypothesis is a statement that has the ability to be disproven through experiment. Any hypothesis that deals with God's existence is not a testable hypothesis; it a statement is incapable of being proven false. You cannot create a test that can falsify God's existence, so the statement is non-science. If a god is discovered it would be an observation; a fact. Science actually confirms "God" or outside interference, when carefully and honestly studied, analyzed, and accepted. Certainly it's easy to dispute the existence of God, or creator (whatever) by science at today's level. But there is a problem with science, the rules have been changing, not to mention mankind can only view at best 70 billion light years into the cosmos, which is infinite by all accounts that we know about. So it would be safe to say, science has no facts beyond that 70 billion light year range. That range beings an unmeasurable fraction of what existence may really turn out to show. It seems that much of the denial of a creator comes from the fear there may be a creator as easily as there may not .Which side do people choose to accept. Just
