RELATED STUDIES In this part you must get your data and information from unpublished material such as previous or old study, research or thesis. In some format, you must label your unpublished material with local or foreign.
1. This should be organized to cover the specific problems.
~ The ideas must be organized, well-arranged in order to answer problems.
2. You must take note all of the evidences that the previous researcher came up.
~Write all the information related to your topic, no more no less, just enough to cover your study.
3. The unpublished material should not be older than five years if possible.
~It is important that reviewed materials must be new or fresh because of the rapid change in technology, social, economic, scientific and human lifestyle.

4. It must be related to your topic. If not do not get it.
~The materials should be related to your study. It is just a waste of time to get unrelated topics.
5. On the last part of this part you must have a statement how this old unpublished material helps the researcher in their current study and relate it to your study.
~In the last part, explain how does the previous study help your current study and relate it. Foreign Studies
-These are the studies that was conducted outside of the Philippines
Local Studies
-These are the studies that was conducted within the country.

Importance of Related Studies
1. It helps or guides the researcher in searching for or selecting a better research problem or topic.
-If you don’t have a research problem, try to browse some related studies and select that caught your interests.
2. It helps the investigator understand his topic for research better.
-Since you had read the study, you will now have ideas and information that will help you to fully understand the research better.

3. It ensures that there will be no duplication of other studies.
