Reflective Essay: My Experience As An Assault Rifle

This week lesson by far has been the most interesting for me even though I did have trouble on downloading the information. I myself don’t agree with the lesson when it comes to the term assault rifle though. In the lesson, it said the term is a rifle that aesthetically resembles that is currently or previously issued in military service. I’ve always believed that an assault rifle is a fully automatic weapon that is used by the military like a M16 or M4 used and a AR15 is a Semi-automatic weapon sold to civilians. Labeling a AR-15 as an assault weapon is wrong and sends messages out to the gun banning liberal retards that this weapon is a military made and very dangerous. I did like the definition for a carbine as a short, compact rifle. I think what I like the most is the historical parts of this lesson. Like example the British No. 5 Enfield was designed for jungle warfare from the British No.4
There still to me not enough information on the market about these rifles. Every time I mention them with people they don’t know what I’m talking about. I myself own two of them a Tavor 21 and a PS-90 which I absolutely love. I believe if more people knew about these weapons they maybe more of a demand on aftermarket parts for them. I did have a brain fart there during this lesson when it came to SBR. I forgot that some lever action rifles could be exempt. When moving on to the Sks trigger job video I acutely seen it before this lesson and had did this job to a Yugo Sks that I put in a bulb pup stock and then resold for twice what I had in it. I was very impressed how the trigger came out. So, I would recommend this video to anyone that has a Sks. I was very interested in the brake down of some of the weapons in the Gun digest book of Tactical weapons. I probably will never run into some of them but at least I know I have a book that has some brake down on them like the US. M3A1 submachine Gun or the S&W
