4.1.1 Surf
Moffat beach has a rocky ,point break waves, point break waves are 'formed when a swell moves around the land almost at a right angle to the beach and a break which begins near the point gradually progresses along the wave' . These waves are best around April and May because this is the time that the tropical cyclone and the East Coast Lows (ECL). Some negatives of Moffat beach are that it is has no surf life savers so no for unsupervised children, it's also a dangerous surfing beach and therefore is for experienced surfers only .This factors mean that only a pro surfing competition could be held here. At Moffat's beach for surfers there is resorts which are important for them to stay at which are close to the beach, there is also transport such as bus and airports for the surf to get to the beach. There are also a surf club close for spathe surfers to store equipment and showers for surfer to wash of after they compete. Catering for admin is also important, there is resorts for them to stay at, there is transport for them to get to the beach and there is an natural amphitheatre so the admin to get a perfect view of the surfers. 4.1.3 Catering for Spectators
Catering for spectator is very important because these are the people who watch the surfers. At Moffat's beach there is all types of accommodation such caravan parks, houses for rent, hotels and resorts this allows all people rich or poor to have accommodation when the go watch, many food and drink vendors, vantage points for people to watch from, 124 parking spots, many street parks and disabled parking, tables, chairs and huts, and transport stops such as bus stops and airports.
