Choose to be Pro-Life One of the most controversial issues today is the topic of abortion. For many years people have been debating over whether abortions should be legal or not. There are two sides to this debate. Those who are pro-choice, do not think that a fetus is a living human being yet with a right to live. They believe it is entirely up to a woman to choose what she does with her own body (Being Pro-Choice). Those people who are pro-life argue otherwise. They believe that abortion is wrong and should be made completely illegal. I am one of them people who are pro-life. Having an abortion is the same as killing another human. It is inhumane, it is a sin,

Which one a woman gets just depends on her stage of pregnancy and how big her baby is. The most common method is the Suction Aspiration (LifeSiteNews). It is used with-in the first twelve weeks of a pregnancy. The embryo is sucked from the womb as it is being cut up. Another method of abortion is the Dilation and Evacuation (LifeSiteNews). In this method a pair of forceps is inserted into the woman to dismember the baby. This method can be used up until a pregnancy is of eighteen weeks along. At eight weeks into a pregnancy, an embryo can squint, suck their thumb, swallow, and tumble (LifeSiteNews). That is only a few things that they can do. The heartbeat of an embryo starts beating twenty-two days after the conception of it …show more content…
People who choose to have abortions done, most of them probably do not know how it is done, or they just do not care due to their own selfishness and ignorance. There are different excuses that they use for having abortions. People who are pro-choice think that a person or mother has the right to do as she chooses with her own body (Being Pro-Choice). They believe that an embryo is not a human and has no rights of their own. Pro-choice campaigners argue that the surgical procedure is completely safe and harmless (Lowen). This is false. Choosing to have an abortion is putting a woman’s body at risk. A mother can have serious complications that can affect their health and their future pregnancies, if able to be pregnant again

Imagine a young child at the playground, slipping down a slide, swinging on the monkey bars, and laughing with glee. When a mother decides to get an abortion, that entire image goes away with a blink of an eye. What that mother might not know is her child might be the next person to cure cancer or be the greatest movie star of all time. The public is divided on this issue and they do not know if one should be pro-life or pro-choice. People that believe in pro-choice think the decision should be up to the mother. It is the mother’s body and she should have the right to decide what happens to it. However, every life matters and the child should not be in the cross fire of the mother’s decision. Abortion violates the child’s right to live and…

There are three main different views of the abortion debate. Most of the debate is if the fetus is considered a human or not is the main argument. For the pro-life side of the abortion debate, they mainly say that it should be considered human. Of course the pro-choice feel just the opposite usually. I personally, consider myself to be Pro-Life because I don’t think that we have enough information on the fetus and I could never consider killing a human (or even a fetus). I feel that the parents should have taken responsibility and taken the appropriate actions such as choosing abstinence, or at least using contraceptives. Hopefully, you will agree after looking at the opposition and their views/arguments against my view.…

The ethical argument that applies to pro-choice abortion is the violinist analogy. If I were hooked to the violinist, I would unhook the tubes the minute I realized I could not take it anymore. I am the one who is hooked to the violinist and I know what I am capable of handling, and someone else cannot tell me that they know when I have enough than myself. The same thing applies to those who are pro-choice and they know their body better than anymore…

Are you Pro-Choice or Pro-Life? My position on the subject is Pro-Life. Being able to have an abortion whenever and for whatever reason is wrong. There are many court cases on abortion taking both sides. Roe v. Wade being the biggest of them all taking the side of Pro-Choice. Being Pro-Life you have to look at more than just the one case. Some other cases are Rust v. Sullivan, Mazurek v. Armstrong, and many more go Pro-Life. Understanding that many people believe abortion is okay and anyone should be able to do it makes abortion a hard subject to talk about. Everyone like to put in the opinion on abortion, but how many people look at the facts on abortion? Looking at the facts could change your opinion.…

There are a mass amount of controversies when the word “abortion” is brought into awareness. This dispute has brought about both positive and negative affects on society. Abortion plays a major role in the everyday life of a human. People base their political parties, and even the jobs they choose to work at, all depending whether the host is pro-life or pro-choice. I personally am pro-life. I have made the decision of being pro-life based on multiple observations. Some of these observations include you are murdering your own child, you need to face the consequences of your actions, and to give people who are not able to have their own offspring a chance to be a mother/parent.…

How would it be like if you weren’t allowed to choose what happens to your future? Some women do not get the luxury of choosing for themselves due to some laws set and they do not get the option whatsoever. That should be different as women are the ones who carry the babies, not the ones who are voting against it. Even though the baby never had the chance to live life, women should have the right to choose what they want to do with their baby because it may be bad for the women herself to have to care of a baby, they may not be prepared for a baby, and we do not know their circumstances of the situation.…

Abortion can be a very heated topic in the world and there are many people who are against it. I chose to write my paper on abortion because I have very strong feelings against abortion and I think it is wrong in many ways. Abortion has cons and pros just like every other topic, but to be honest, in this topic there should not be one single person allowed to take away an innocent life. Let alone the fact that the doctors performing the surgery are assisting in a murder. To have an abortion means to terminate the pregnancy, which means to kill the baby. Tell me, do you think that is right? Do you think that God would be proud of you for committing a murder?…

Is abortion murder or a matter of choice is a question that has been in the mainstream of moral debates for as long as I can remember. I have always supported a women’s right to choose, however in this paper I shall look at the philosophical argument to the contrary. In this deductive look at a classic dilemma, I will first outline why killing a person is wrong and then determine at what point the “unborn” is considered to be a person. At that point, we can decide when abortion becomes murder and not a matter of a person’s free will concerning their body.…
