Conservation of Power Resources
Power resources are very important for us but since there is a very high demand for these resources and most of their supply are limited. So we should conserve these resources to prevent them from getting exhausted. Conservation of Power resources means using these resources carefully and giving them time to get renewed. There are

From the moment we wake up in the morning until the time we go to bed each night, we all use different forms of energy to perform our daily activities. On a daily basis I use energy for transportation to commute to and from work and run errands; for cooking meals using either my gas range, microwave or charcoal grill; for heating my home in the winter and cooling my home in the summer; for daily showering, and for lighting my home in order to be comfortable and productive. Most of the resources we rely on for energy are nonrenewable and will soon be depleted.…

There are nonrenewable resources such as coal, oil and natural gas. Mining coal can damage plants by erosion from acid and toxic mineral drainage; streams can be polluted with sediment and acid drainage. Nonrenewable fuels are fossil fuels and they can deplete and can’t be replaced. Renewable energy sources are the opposite and can be replenished the sun, water, and winds are renewable resources. Solar energy is an example of a renewable resource; we can heat buildings, houses, water with solar panels or plates which absorb energy from the sun.…

Energy is an important part of our everyday lives. Energy can come in many different types, and forms it can be used for many different purposes. Energy has many different usages and can be converted from one form of usage to another form of usage depending on what the need is. One form of energy conversion is the use of food to supply people's bodies with energy. Another form of energy is how coal is converted into electricity. Fuel is another form of energy that can be used for many different usages as well. Fuel is used for much different reason such as allowing our cars to function and our lawnmowers to cut grass. There are many different reasons why people use energy in the many different ways that we use it. Even though people rely on energy usage, some of the forms of energy we use are very harmful to the environment and even dangerous to ourselves. The harmful and dangerous fuels that we use can be changed to alternative methods of energy usage. There are two different types of alternative energy, which is known as renewable energy. Renewable energy is very resourceful and is able to be used because it is all around us there will not be a shortage of material and it is safer on every living thing and being. Energy and fuel usage just like everything else in the world has its advantages and disadvantages about using it. We must collectivity figure out which source of energy is right for everyone but for now we will find out which is best to use in your…

It is important for everyone to do their part to conserve energy. Our resources, such as water, natural gas, oil, coal and the water species are limited. We have to save some for the future. Another reason is that some of these resources pollute the environment. We have to be careful since it causes damage to the environment.…

Most of the energy we use now comes from fossil fuels coal, oil and natural gas, which are being consumed more rapidly than they are being replaced. That means eventually we will use up these fuels. That is why we as a society need to broaden our research to develop new forms of energy resources are for this happens.…

Natural resources are materials or substances such as minerals, forests, water, and fertile land that occur in nature and can be used for economic gain. Human life is dependent on natural resources, so there is a concern that we may eventually run out of them. There are many alternative energy sources that could be used as a substitute to natural resources in the future. There are many different types of alternative sources of energy to choose from, but in my opinion there are three that would be best suited for use in the future. The three that I find majorly important are wind power, solar power, and hydropower. All three alternative energy sources could be very useful to use in the future, but they all also have negative sides to them and that is why all three, instead of just one, are the best to use in the future.…

Energy is a source of usable power, such as petroleum or coal. Energy lights cities, powers our vehicles, warms homes, cooks food, plays music and powers machinery in factories. We use energy to do nearly everything that we do in our lives. China uses the most energy but has a very large population. The majority of the electricity we use is made from fossil fuels- coal, natural gas and oil. Some of the electricity we use is from nuclear fission power plants. The rest of the electricity comes from renewable sources such as hydroelectric plants, wind turbines and solar panels. An average person in the USA uses 600 times more energy than an average Ethiopian. The USA uses 80% of the energy China does but has a population a quarter of their size. The wealthier parts of the world generally use more energy than the poorer parts of the world. 1/3 of the world has no electricity.…

The two types of energy resources I chose were wind energy and biofuel energy. Wind energy uses turbines which convert the kinetic energy in the wind into mechanical power. This power can be used for a generator, a generator can convert this mechanical power into electricity to power homes, businesses, schools, and many others. Biofuel energy unlike other renewable energy sources can be converted directly into liquid fuels for our transportation needs usually found from dead plants and animals. The two most common types of biofuels are ethanol and biodiesel.…

The energy that is used today comes from fossil fuels, which is a nonrenewable limited resource that will eventually be used up. Alternative energy sources such as solar, hydroelectric, geothermal and wind energies can be used, to conserve the planets limited natural resources. Alternative energy is the use of another energy without the burning of fossil fuels and break up on atoms. Solar energy can be used to operate cars and provide electricity for homes and businesses. Hydroelectric energy can be used to provide electric power to small towns and cities. Geothermal energy can be used to heat buildings or water and to power turbines to make power. Wind energy can be used to pump water and generate electricity.…

Energy is used in every aspect of daily life. From the moment a person opens their eyes, energy is being used. Energy is used to get work done. The lights to illuminate the house, a stove for cooking, dishwasher to clean dishes, clothes washer for laundry and various electronics are powered by electricity. Electricity is supplied to customers by power that is created at plants then transferred to high voltage power lines known as the “grid” (EIA, 2012). The tankless water heater used for all water heating needs, the furnace to heat a home in the winter and cool in the summer, and clothes dryer all receive energy from natural gas. Customers receive service for natural gas to their homes from lines that run from a main (AGA, 2013). Petroleum, a fossil fuel, powers the vehicle used to drive to work. Petroleum is derived from oil and gas exhumed from rocks deep within the earth. Once processed, the petroleum can be sold to customers to run their vehicles (Petroleum – Oil and Natural Gas, 2013). Solar panels help supplement power to the travel trailer used for family fun and propane is used for BBQ cooking. Solar panels use the power of the sun to convert the light into energy. Propane is removed from crude oil during the refining…
