Positive Effects Of The Industrial Revolution
Hear the loud sound of machines? Smell that nasty smog that is in the air? That is the product of the industrial revolution and it must be stopped. The industrial revolution is causing child labor, people are starving, and it is changing the class structure.
One of the many negative effects of the of the industrial revolution, are the living conditions of people who are working in the factories. Workers are forced to work long hours, have low pay for the long hours they put into their work, and since they are paid little they have little money for food so they are also starving. Now that everyone has jobs they are able to buy more things such as food, clothes shoes, and increase the quality of life as a whole. Another good thing that came with industrialization is that there are now new innovations such as light bulbs, vaccines, and the telephone. However these innovations most likely would still be achieved without the industrial revolution. The only other good thing about the industrial revolution is modern buildings, now there were much more housing for the homeless people to live in.
One of the ways to improve the many bad effects of the revolution is to give workers higher wages. With higher wages workers will be able to work and earn enough money to rent a home, have kids, and be able to eat food. Not only does it help with that it also lets children be able to go to school because workers would be making enough to support themselves, put food on the table and be able to let their kids not work and be able to go to school.
