Points Of Interest In College Football
The points of interest during this game are an emotional wave of support for YSU whenever a touchdown, complete pass, fumble, or bad call is made. The number of the attendants present at the game which make you feel like a pebble in a massive ocean, the outside of the stadium’s sights, and lastly the sound of the air horn and cannon being fired. College Football: Generating Possessive Memories Walking into the stadium with for the first time with no one, but other YSU patrons was a different experience it was the first time I have been to a college football game. When entering the stadium you feel like a pebble in a massive ocean and try to gather your thoughts, all those empty seats during IGNITE week, now filled, gave it that wow factor.
When touchdowns were scored after long passes there was a pause as if the world stopped and waited to see if a catch was going to be made and then the stadium erupted. With excitement and when a bad play was called, it was an echo of boo’s one right after the other and when a fumble was recovered, ecstatic

Exiting the stadium looking outwards you will see sights that look beautiful to see being high up; it brings out the details of areas that would not be seen otherwise, and when reaching ground level walking alongside the stadium, looking up you feel small and have the feeling of unease and amazement at the same time.
To conclude the environment in which you step into is massive and with many spectators expecting a football game they should take a look around outward when walking up the ramp, or elevator and see the sights from a different perspective. Patrons do not just go to the football game they go for the sights and events during the game that goes along with

The competitive advantage of the College Football Hall of Fame has the potential to be very strong. What makes the CFHOF hard to duplicate is that it offers a hands-on, personalized, customer experience that is driven by technology. The CFHOF also has an ideal sized facility, which allows for the technology-driven attraction to get a good value for the cost of operations. An attraction that is too big might find it too expensive to depend so heavily on similar technology, while a facility too small might view the cost to be too expensive to depend so heavily on technology, in addition to the fact that the hospitality/entertainment attractions rely on the unpredictable human factor to generate revenue.…

While it swarms the air the first thing that is noticed by most is the smell, one step in and the war, smell of deep fried food surrounds you. It would be overwhelming, but the vast stadium spreads out the aroma as much as possible. People immediately go on a quest to search for the scoreboard, but nobody looks for very long, because stretched from one twenty-yard line to the other lies the oversized HD scoreboard that is unrivaled by any other. Next to the mammoth scoreboard an Imax would look like a tablet, on each side of the main screen there is a smaller screen that is still monumental. Concrete walkways leading to the seats are lined with a tunnel of stores all displaying a lone navy blue star with a white outline. All of the walls are either navy blue or gray, the only other colors in the place come from the glare of the scoreboard’s lights. Every seat is a drop of water in a sea of blue, with the only blemish being the occasional fan for the opponent. At the base of all the grand stands lie a field that is precisely laid green AstroTurf with the only exception being the navy end zones at each end, it isn’t game ready yet. Theatrics for the national anthem and team entrances are set up randomly around the…

“These are the sounds of baseball: the crack of a wooden bat hitting a ball; the pop of a ball hitting a glove; the organ; the cheering fans” (Baltimore, Md.). Back in April for the very first time in MLB history, there was a game with no fans in the bleachers to watch and cheer on the teams.…

Outside the Coliseum is the diehard, devoted fan base. At 7 am the parking lot is filled with diehard fans that come early to tailgate prior to the game. As you make your way to the entrance of the Coliseum the spices and smell of perfectly seasoned food attacks your senses. You can’t help but notice the camaraderie and friendships formed while the alcohol flows. It is in the parking lot you see the dedication and years of loyalty displayed by its fans. In the front row nearest to the stadium stands the most dedicated fan. An older man, scruffy looking stands next to his Winnebago. He is dressed in the traditional garbs for the day. His Winnebago is covered from front to back in Cardinal and Gold; from his speakers blares the schools song ‘Fight On’. Walking by he gives you the greeting of the day ‘Fight on’ and talks about the upcoming slaughter that is to commence…

Say the assignment is college football. Say that you've decided to be against it. Begin by putting down the arguments that come to your mind: it is too commercial, it takes the students' minds off their studies, it is hard on the players, it makes the university a kind of circus instead of an intellectual center, for most schools it is financially ruinous. Can you think of any more arguments, just off hand? All right. Now when you write your paper, make sure that you don' t use any of the material on this list. If these are the points that leap to your mind, they will leap to everyone else's too, and whether you get a "C" or a "D" may depend on whether the instructor reads your paper early when he is fresh and tolerant or late, when the sentence…

The Cask of Amontillado and The Tell Tale Heart are stories written by Edgar Alan Poe. In those stories we have evidence of two different ways to be killed, one of them with irony to consciously accept to go down your final destiny and the other one with surprise at night while sleeping in your bed. Both murderers killed their victims, and told us in a first person narrative how and why they committed the murders. However, should we believe everything they said about what happened in the stories? In order to have a better picture we need to break down the facts of the murderers (Montresour and The Narrator). Montresour studied his victim before the act, while the Narrator waited for the easy chance to kill. Montresour planned a trick to hide his emotions until the end while the Narrator was a slave of what he was feeling. In both crimes there was a…

It was a crisp cold fall day at Lambeau field. I could see everything that was happening the whole entire time. The field was as green as a tree in the middle of Summer. The cold wind was whistling in my ear. The smell the hot dogs, burgers, and turf from the field filled my nose as the game begin. All I could hear were people cheering on the Packers and the jumbotron blaring, “Go pack go!” I could see the running back Eddie Lacy drive the ball into the end zone and everyone went wild. A mix people cheering and screaming filled my ears. After the opposing team returned the ball everyone started cheering, “Defense, defense, defense!” The watched the ball get intercepted and run down the field for another touchdown! The stadium was filled to full capacity with women, men, and children. I could not spot an empty seat in the place. Many spectators were dressed in colors of black, blue, and gold. However, the overall majority of the crowd was dressed in black and red. After the singing of the National Anthem, the football teams flooded the field in grandiose fashion. The crowd became ecstatic. The fans were cheering so loud that neither my girlfriend nor I could hear each other. The first quarter of the game seemed rather dull and mediocre, however by the second quarter, things had become incredibly intense. At the commencement of the second quarter, I could see athletes perform almost superhuman feats such as running, jumping, and throwing. The athletes appeared to be demigods with helmets and modern day gladiators. One player got hit so hard that he was carted off the field. Nonetheless, the game continued without a skipping a beat. During the second quarter, fans continued to cheer and chant for their teams. As the masses roared, the players responded by playing more aggressively. As the game went on, each team proved to be a force to be reckoned with. Each time one team scored, the other team replied with a score of their own. The back and forth scoring kept the fans on edge and tense. By the end of the second quarter, the game had become tied with only the second half…

Everyone has the basic psychological need of belonging and purpose. I satisfied this need by supporting my school in the Warrior Stadium every game night. It was in that stadium where I would quench my thirsts for brotherhood and companionship. It was a place of refuge for me. I could escape from drama and peer conflict, into a bigger and broader conflict between rivalries older than myself. In the Oak Grove Stadium we could all join together in support of the team we loved and stand united against our challengers. Whether we won or lost we did so together as a community and school. It was there that I learned some of life's most valuable lessons. The Warrior…

We were in the air thin nose bleeds of seats, but it didn’t matter as it was amazing that we were there. I could see the Fox pregame show on the side of the field, reassuring me that this was baseball’s biggest stage. I could really feel the chill in the air as the sun was sinking under the lake. The lights were on and made the feel pop with its perfectly groomed green grass and beautiful combed brown dirt. The energy was conducted all around the field and released when the national anthem was amplified across the stadium, signifying the start of the…
