Plant and Deforestation
Deforestation has been taking places in every part of the world. Many forests have been cleared out without considering the effect to the world. Deforestation was, is and is going to be done with the reason to fulfill human’s need. Forest was used to cover around 50% of the total land in the earth, but sadly forest only cover around 30% of the total land. Can we still call earth the green planet if deforestation keeps on happening? I strongly believe that we need to stop deforestation before it is too late, or else we, humans, will suffer a lot from it.
It has been told that forests are our world lungs. As many of us have known, every green plant can do photosynthesis, a process of producing oxygen from carbon dioxide. If deforestation keeps on happening, our oxygen supply will also deplete. That’s one thing I can guarantee. It means that we won’t have enough air to breathe with and it will kill many people in the world. In other case, the air will be very dirty, contaminated with many kinds of harmful gasses. Many people will breathe this unhealthy air, they will be sick and it will lead to death. We need clean air and that’s why we need forests to produce it.
Forests are the habitat of most animals and plants. Forests are most likely to have some rare animals or plants in it. Not just it, they might have medicinal herbs which are good for our body and are the cures for our sickness. Imagine if suddenly a forest is burn while having some animals or plants which are yet to be discovered. Imagine if a home for rare animals or plants are destroyed. Imagine if the source of medicinal herbs suddenly gone. We would have lost so much. Humans are so egoist, they clear out forest and kill the animals and plants which reside there.
Forests are one of what we call by land protector. A forest has a lot of trees. These trees can prevent landslide because they have deep roots. Not just that, they can retain water which became a new source of water after some time. If trees

Deforestation is the third largest source of greenhouse gas emissions after coal and oil (WWF). It actually leads to more air pollution, in terms of carbon dioxide, than all the cars and trucks in the world (Scheer, Moss, 2012). Around 14 percent of the carbon emissions come from automobiles and trucks, while above 15 percent come from deforestation, according to World Carfree Network and WWF (Scheer, Moss, 2012); (WWF). Trees remove absorb carbon dioxide through the process of photosynthesis, therefore if forests are removed, the process of photosynthesis will slow down leading to higher levels of carbon dioxide. Later on, these amounts of carbon dioxide could have a negative effect on the Earth’s equilibrium (Hilderman, 2010). These effects could be present in the rising of sea levels, extreme climate change, increasing ocean acidification, etc. If people do not take action of deforestation, more than 200 tons of carbon will be in the atmosphere sooner than they expect (Scheer, Moss,…

Deforestation is the cutting down of a large area of trees and the destruction of forests by people. Forests are what we call an exhaustible resource, one which can be used up if it is not used carefully. Over the last few decades, deforestation has threatened the rainforests with total extinction. To understand why deforestation is such an important issue, you first have to understand why trees matter. Trees improve in many ways the life of all species, including the human race. They help to maintain the Earth’s benevolent atmosphere, provide shelter for much biodiversity, but also have a high commercial value. As a consequence there is much critical debate around the causes and solutions for deforestation.…

Forests are important to the production of oxygen, which is why the need to save them is so crucial. According to www.mnn.com more than 20% of the oxygen in the world is produced in the Amazon Rain Forest. Without trees humans would not exist, not only do they produce oxygen but they filter the air we breathe. As reported by www.about.com, a mature leafy tree produces as much oxygen in a season as 10 people inhale in a year. Forests renew our air supply by absorbing carbon dioxide and producing oxygen. Trees also clean our atmosphere by intercepting airborne particles by absorbing ground-level ozone, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and other greenhouse gases. Stated by www.americanforest.org , a single tree can absorb 10 pounds of air pollutants a year, and produce nearly 260 pounds of oxygen- enough to support two people. Humans do not think cutting down trees here and there will make a big impact, but all the trees they cut down add up and in the end they are only hurting us. In addition to oxygen, forests help reduce global warming.…

Scientist have predicted that by the year 2050 there will be no tropical rainforest, in the 1800 there was 7.1 billion acres and now it has been decreasing due to deforestation, in the world the tropical rainforest is now down to 3.5 billion acres. There are tribes living in the tropical rainforest that call it home but deforestation is changing that. The rate of deforestation is increasing every second, 3.7 acres of rainforest disappears. Once people realize what they did they will want to support the problem and it would be a protest to not deforest as…

Deforestation is one of the biggest ways in which we are depleting the earth of the lungs that uses to purify the atmosphere and clean the environment of carbon dioxide which is a greenhouse gas that contributes to a rising global temperature. (4) The rainforest act as natural cleaners of the environment and help the atmosphere and ourselves by transforming carbon dioxide into Oxygen with the help of the Sun. Nowadays about twenty percent of the greenhouse gases are the effect of tropical rainforest deforestation alone. The way that deforestation impacts our world also affects the water cycle of earth as trees from rainforest whom used to extract groundwater from the earth and release it into the atmosphere are cut down and now unable to do so. Deforestation makes soils become eroded and thru rain…

In all rainforest regions in the world, deforestation has become a major problem. The rainforest is arguably the most complicated and largely interwoven ecosystem on land. However, this treasure is being lost and demolished day by day, the land being cleared away for the pure interest of money making, in the process of deforestation. Not only are thousands of species of organisms being driven to extinction, but we are also effectively eliminating any chance of studying many of the species. Also, deforestation has a major impact on the atmospheric balance of the world, and if it continues at the rate it is now, then soon the world's entire way of living will be forced to change, and not for the good. If the people of the world do not begin to be more contentious, then soon rainforests will become nothing more than a glorious legend of the past.…

There are many environmental issues that need to be taken care of as soon as possible. One issue would have to be deforestation. For years we as humans have depended on trees as a resource to our everyday life. We have built homes, paper, and many other products from this precious resource. If the forest provided us with low cost homes and so many good resources, why is it an ethical issue or problem? “ This is a problem because deforestation destroys not only forests but also reduces the biodiversity, which means a reduction in the amount, as well as variation of, living things which can cause havoc…

Deforestation is an issue we need to fix. I would like to spend 100,000 dollars on deforestation because some of the trees that are being cut down are thousands of years old. “Any fool can destroy trees”(John Muir, “The American Forests,” Atlantic Monthly, August, 1897) Above all this, one fact remains the same, we need trees to live. If we destroy all the trees in the world, we are left with harsh living conditions for ourselves. Our forests should be preserved if we want a better nation.…

On the other hand, deforestation brings harm to humans because it can lead to erosion of the topsoil and siltation of rivers near the deforested areas. The tree canopy of a rainforest provides shelter from rain for the soil, and the roots help hold the soil in place. This helps to prevent the topsoil from being washed away by the rain. However, when a forest is cleared, the tree canopy…
