Personal Narrative: St. Lucia

It was a hot summer day. As I went to the back of my grandparent’s house with Alexis, my little sister, to see and play on the beach, in St. Lucia.
It all began as I stepped off the porch of our beach house, I was reached by a beautiful and amazing sight, from which my eyes longed to see.
I felt the sand squish slowly through my toes as I gaily walk down the shoreline of the outer banks. There was a unique shade of green on the land. It was soft but yet silky as I bent to touch it. It smelt herbaceous. The sun stood up confidently and proudly shined its yellow lights unto earth. The sun’s radiant face was mirrored by the shimmering clear blue waves of the sea. Each wave had its own meaning as it washed unto the shores.
