Personal Narrative: My Journey To Texas A & M University

I learned that when you really want something sometimes you have to put yourself out there and take a risk. I realized this when it came time for me to go to college. I wanted to go to Texas A&M University and had already been accepted and that’s when I realized I was about to begin a whole new opportunity in my life. It started with packing and leaving behind everything I had ever known because I had lived in just one city my whole life. It was both nerve wracking and exhilarating. The big move included a treacherous drive of over 1,500 miles from Idaho Falls, Idaho to College Station, Texas. It was the start to a whole new chapter in my life and ultimately I was the one who would decide how it would go. It was a little rough in the beginning
