The game was like a ping pong match, no one could keep possession of the ball long enough to get anywhere near the goal. The opposing team started the half with the ball but we quickly got possession. We were not playing around. The rules to over time is that whoever scores first wins the game. As we were moving up the field with the ball I could feel it coming, I knew that this was going to be an opportunity to score. My teammate worked the ball up the field into the corner and was looking for someone to cross the ball to. I wanted the game winning goal so badly. This would be something that I could brag about for the rest of my life. She takes the kick to cross the ball and it’s coming right towards me.
