PENINSULAR MALAYSIA * Malaysia is a multiracial country. Malaysia has a population of 23.27 million consisting of 61 % Malays, 30%, Chinese, 8 % Indians and 1% of other ethnic groups. To understand, virtue, ethics, and morality we must first understand their meanings.
Besides that, the minority groups in the Peninsula include the:- * Chinese peranakan : It is a culture that encompasses the best of old ancient malay, chinese and European influences and absorbs the best of other cultures as well to form a cohesive and united Peranakan identity.This means that the children of such mixed intermarriages were called peranakan meaning that they were born locally and were of mixed blood.

* Eurasians : Eurasians, a minority people group in Malaysia, are the descendants of the original Portuguese, British, and Dutch settlers who came with the colonial rulers of the early centuries.

* Thai Community : Malaysian Siamese is a term commonly referred to Malaysians of Thai ethnicity. Malaysian Siamese are recognised as Bumiputeras and are given similar status to the Malays, Kadazan-Dusuns, Ibans and Malaccan Portuguese. ( the pie chart)
Population Distribution by Ethnic Group and Region in Peninsular Malaysia :- * Overall, the bumiputera has the highest % among all the region, second is the Chinese then the Indians and the least will be others. * For Sabah, Bumiputera has the highest %, then Chinese and the least is other region. * And Sarawak, Bumiputera has the highest %, then Chinese and the least is other region.

FACTS – CHINESE PEARANAKAN
The Peranakans, also known as the Babas and Nyonyas, was a prominent community of acculturated Chinese unique to this part of the world, especially in the Straits Settlements (Penang, Malacca and Singapore) hence its other name, the Straits Chinese.
