Osama Bin Laden Research Paper
Osama Bin Laden’s life started on March 10, 1957, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Osama’s life started out great. He was very wealthy and privileged growing up. He was also a demure boy while he was young. Bin Laden was tall for his age and had an athletic physique. Osama befriended Abdul Aziz, a lifelong friend, on a trip into the desert. He also was befriended and influenced by Abdullah Azzam, who influenced his beliefs later in life, when he was in school. While he was young, Bin Laden spent as much time as he could with his father. Although he was close with his father, Osama was sent to live with his mother in Tabuk. Osama wasn’t happy in Tabuk, so he asked to move back to Jidda. Osama was a Muslim all his life. He was born Saudi. Even though he’s called Osama Bin Laden, his full name is Osama Bin Muhammad Bin Awad Bin Laden. Osama had a big, interesting family growing up. Osama was the seventeenth child of his fifty one siblings. All of whom were his father’s children. While Osama was still very young his parents got divorced. When he was little, Osama would always join his family on trips into the desert, but as he got older, he started going less and less. Bin Laden was disowned by his family in 1994 for his violent Jihads. Osama’s father was a huge influence on his life. His father was a businessman and his name was Mohammad Bin Laden. Mohammad was a man of self-discipline and was very strict. He built a palace for the future King of Saudi in 1948. Mohammad was well respected in Jidda for all he did for them. Although Osama was a young boy, Mohammad treated him like an adult. After Osama’s mother, Mohammad married twice. Unfortunately, he was killed in a plane crash in 1967. Nearly ten thousand people attended Mohammad’s funeral. Not long after his death, Osama inherited a fortune from his
