One day, on my home my sister was angry with my mom, because her friends have facebook and she want make one, and my sister said to my mom, “Mis amigas tienen y dicen que es muy divertido”, and my mom said, “No porque tus amigas tienen tu vas a querer tu no sabes los peligros que puede tener o las personas con las que hablas pore so no te voy a dar permiso de hacer uno”. I will explain three negative things about facebook or other social networks. First negative this about facebook is distraction. Sometimes when she is doing her homework, she entered in facebook or twitter, and forgets what she was doing. In the morning she was doing her homework all asleep because in the night when she should be doing her homework was distracted with facebook, and my mom scold to her and said, “Vez por estar distraerte en facebook mira ahora estas haciendo la tarea a mera hora”, and she said, “Ay mama ya dejame de reganar no es cierto estaba pidiendole la tarea a alguien” and my mom said, “no es cierto”.
The second negative thing about facebook is not privacy. One day, my sister I see she is uploading photos to facebook of her birthday and said to me, “Es de mi cumpleanos son para mis amigas para que las vean por si no fueron”, and my mom said to her, “Niña no estes subiendo fotos aunque sea de tus cumpleaños”, because those pages there are many people who do not know as stalkers or pedophiles, because you never know who is watching or sometimes put personal information in facebook and this is not correct because never know who use this information for kidnap or other things.
The last negative thing about facebook is fights. This is because sometimes my sister or her friends talk bad to another people or make comments or gossip about bad things that did or upload videos to let in ridiculous to be angry and fight with them. In some case when you have boyfriend or girlfriend this pages cause problems in the relationship because them know your password and can enter, and check

Once Facebook was created it opened up people’s minds in different ways to see what’s going around daily. The pros of Facebook are endless to the users. Even if a user is not into world news, or what is going on around the world they can view it if a friend of theirs share a post about it. This attracts the user that does not care to start thinking about how important what is going around in our world is. As it was mentioned earlier, with every positive there is a negative. Facebook allows the user to post whatever they want to post without any limits, unless whomever the post offends reports the post that offended them to the company. However, this creates more hate than there is into the people. How many suicide cases have we heard that where caused by social media cyber bullying. Even though Facebook every day builds more privacy options into the network barely any user uses…

In the following essay, the benefits and consequences of social networking are explained and the different uses of social media are revealed. Websites, such as Facebook, have grown so popular that they have been created into mobile apps for individuals to use when he or she is unable to access a computer. With the significant increase in the number of its users, social networking has become a universal activity with its positive effects outweighing its negative ones. From being able to connect people from the opposite sides of the world to being able to provide a surplus of information, social networking sites have had a symbolic impact on the society that exists today. Without them, relationships would lose their potential to truly bloom and communication would become extremely limited. And although their opponents may claim that they bring too many safety risks, which include the effects that cyber bullying may bring, these websites have brought many advancements and have changed themselves over time to create a better environment for their users. The positive effects that social networking has created can be found everywhere, whether it is by enabling companions to communicate after a separation or by creating memorable relationships.…

Social networking sites allow you to connect with old friends from high school, family that lives far away, in my case, even in another country as missionaries, friends down the street, coworkers, and just about anyone else you can think of. This can make you feel more connected to the world around you. You can keep up with what everyone is doing and accomplishing in their lives very easily through statuses and pictures posted every day. I have met new family members, whether by marriage or by birth, through Facebook who I otherwise have not had the opportunity to meet. One of my uncles, who recently passed away, had an affair about thirty years ago and did not realize he had a son from that affair until his son decided to find his father. Facebook is the only way I have been able to meet my new found cousin and his family. But when you start looking at the downside of social networking, it can make you wonder if it is really worth the cost. There have been many debates on the issues of using these sites for many years, so there have been quite a few downsides brought to the public’s attention such as health issues like anxiety or depression, lower grades for students of all levels, decreased productivity in the workplace, someone being stalked and so forth. Since there are way too many to cover in this paper, I am going to concentrate on three that I feel are some of the most important issues. Some of the issues with social networking sites are identity theft made easier, cyber bullying, which has caused many suicides, and strong face-to-face relationships suffering and being replaced by weaker online relationships.…
