online business design
My main business objective for this project is to open up an Online Service Website. A website that allows people to order groceries online and have them delivered to their homes. Target customers would include housewifes, pregnant mothers, gamers, and generally people who stay home a lot or too busy to go out to do grocery shopping. My two main competitors would be Safeway Online Grocery and InstaCart. They are both very well-known and are used by many customers, however there has been complaints about its inconvenient fee and inconsistent delivery time. These are the angles I am trying to prioritize in my business.
My main target # of visitors per month would be 300 and secondary target at 150. People looking for my website in the internet would be able to find me using keyword phrases such as “San Francisco grocery delivery” and “Online grocery shopping San Francisco”. For my business, the most important social media activity would be twitter once a day. Twitter is simple and easy, a link to my website would be able to be linked directly from posts made through twitter. Aside from twitter I would like to also advertise my website through facebook as I believe facebook is still the leading networking site as of right now. As far as Online Experience goes, my domain name would be “grocerytogo.us” I think my domain name catches my whole idea and is easy to remember. The two user tasks that are most important for customer satisfaction would be choosing the right time when the groceries are to be delivered and also request a “special delivery”. Special delivery is an item that needs to be purchased outside of a supermarket for the customer (i.e McDonalds/In-N-Out/Popeyes). These items would be charged extra however, customers would not mind as long as they are satisfied with their orders.
For this website my conversion goals would be to click on ads and order now. These are 2 very basic ways of converting online customers. The conversion rate target for my
