Nursing Practice Reflection

One aspect that I believe to have been a successful part of my practice over these past few weeks is my increased confidence and ability to recognize assessment results that stray from the norm, such as a blood pressure of 90/60. This was particularly made apparent a few times within these past few weeks, but more particularly when working with a patient whose temperature averaged around 34.5 degrees Celsius. As that is well below what one’s average temperature could be and could be a warning sign to a more serious issue, I spoke to my co-caring nurse so we could intervene.
