Let me come out and say it right off the bat, Alabama would never in a million years beat an NFL team. Quit it with the “ROLL TIDE” antics and come back to reality. The roster full of amateure boys would stand no chance against experienced professional men, the best of the best.
Let’s first analyze the Alabama Crimson Tide. Alabama is currently 14-0 and looking to win the national championship for the second year straight. Led by the number one ranked defense the Tide only allowed 16 touchdowns and an average of 244 yards against. There is a reason the 40 yard dash is the most talked about stat at the NFL combine. The NFL weeds out those who are too slow and separates the men from the boys. Those who play in the NFL are simply a different breed of man, the best athletes in the world.
Battle in the trenches:
Alabama has the best Defensive line in college football, but it's no match for the all star caliber offensive lineman that cleveland has. The Browns pride and joy is their captain and star player Joe Thomas. Likely headed to the Hall of fame, Joe Thomas has was selected to the pro bowl every year from 2007-2016. Alabamas pass rushers are some of the best to ever play college football, but the 10x pro bowler has seen it all and could likely do more than hold his own.
Skill positions:
The browns have no shortage of big name stars including: all pro receiver Terrelle Pryor, all pro corner Joe Haden and star tight end Gary Barnidge. These three all stars all on the field at the same time is something no other college team has. Alabama has never had to face so many players of this caliber at the same time. Teams in the NFL struggle to contain Pryor and Barnidge at the same time, now imagine a college trying to do that.
