my sister's wedding
My sister’s wedding day!

Our house was full of excitement. Relatives from all over the world visited and offered their assistance. The dining-room table was laid with delectable treats and thirst-quenching drinks. Laughter filled every corner. Mum scurried around, ensuring that all the arrangements were made.

Everyone, including me, pampered the special princess. Her friends gathered around her giggling and making comments about her future husband. The happiness and excitement surrounded me.
The big day had finally arrived! I wore my fabulous dress, which I had accessorized with expensive jewellery. We preceded to the last function of the week. I watched the elegant bride in amazement while I pondered over the amazing memories we had together.

My stomach was in knots and I was extremely anxious as we arrived at the brightly lit, decorated venue. I walked my sister down the aisle. She was stunning in a cloud of white with bright diamonds on her head and neck. My heart leapt with pride and joy. At that time I did not realize that we were walking down the path of change.

The night was magical. We spent the entire night celebrating. The crowd loved mum`s arrangements and she was proud of her self.

I fell into bed that night and I felt a sense of emptiness but I knew my sister was content. My sister now belonged to someone else. She will now just be a mere visitor in our house. I will miss my sister and cherious our memories.

THE END!

With a twirl she acknowledged her audience and a bow that seemed as though she thought the audience was begging for an encore, finally, she turned her attention to the man that undoubtedly matched her own beauty. As she locked eyes on her soon to be husband she started walking slowly at first toward him and quicker as she got closer, eventually running to him in a dramatic fashion as if her lover had returned from war. March 29, 2010 was the date of my big celebration. Before my party, months and months of planning took place before everything was done. Finding the perfect dress, the reception, decorations and much more was not an easy task. Three months till my Quinceanera and I still had not found my dress in which I would feel like a princess in. We came across a small boutique, and luckily, the very first dress the manger suggested I fell in love with. As soon as I tried it on, I knew it was the perfect dress, and looking for a dress was now off my list. A beautiful white strapless ball gown with sparkly coral accents was sure to impress my guests. Looking for the right reception was a much easier decision as I chose to have it at The Marriot Hotel by the beach in Ventura, CA.…

Since I am almost 16 years old, and have my learner's permit my mom let me drove. Of my fifty-six cousins, all but Erin, whom I had been especially hoping to see attended the celebration. Although I missed Erin, I enjoyed visiting with many of the eighty-five friends and family, who had come to the celebration. Aunt Maude and Aund Magaret were truly stunned when they were born. Mom and her sisters chipped in together to buy…

a snow flake in sight. The usual blizzards of Wisconsin held off just for our ceremony that night. The ceremony was held in the Mitchell Park domes which are botanical gardens. Three scenic domes with a desert, tropical, and Show dome. The show dome was decorated with poinsettia plants, greenery from the christmas season and a christmas tree so high you had to tilt your head to see the shining star on top. You could just tell how breathtaking the ceremony, decorations, and reception atmosphere was going to be. As I was standing there, anxiously waiting, dapperly dressed in my military dress uniform. She walked in the dome and graciously made her way down the bowed isle as the string trio performed Pachelbel's Canon in D. She wore a fitted ivory mermaid dress that had pearls and beads sewn around the underbust with a large bow on the side with more beading and sequence wrapped around the center of it. She held a bouquet of 25 white, fresh, and classy calla lilly flowers that was fastened by pearl pins. She finally reached the altar and teared up from seeing each other for the first time that day. I took her hand and then we started the ceremony. We stood under a white heart shaped metal arch decorated in green vines as our ceremony was conducted by the assistant pastor of our attending church. He stood directly in front of us as he delivered a wonderful bilingual sermon for both our Spanish and English speaking guests. I was petrified of the thought of passing out in front of my loved ones but I held on to the thought of kissing my wife. The pastor directed us to turn and face each other and led us through our…
