Introduction

Background of the Study

Banana is a seasonal fruit. All year round people around the country can eat this fruit anytime they wanted and so,was my household and my neighbors. Now, banana peelings scatter along the street and trash bags are full of it. Thinking about the investigatory project, I’ve searched the internet about the possible ways to make use of it. One of the benefits that I have read was to recycle the banana peelings into paper. This study is all about banana peelings being recycled into handmade papers and looking into its quality.

Statement of the Problem This research is supposed to answer the following problems and questions below: 1. How can we make banana peelings into paper? 2. How was the recycled paper’s quality?

Significance of the Study This study will help lessen the garbage in our place and bring forth creativity. This will help students more important , in the area of recycling and arts. The kind of paper being recycled in this research can be used in scrapbooks and other activities in school. This simple recycling will enable many to participate in preserving the resources around us.

Scope and Limitations

This project will use the Musa Acuminata or Lacatan Banana peelings in handmade recycling. A few scrap of papers will also be mixed with it but it will be made sure that the percentage of the peelings will be greater than the scrap papers. Aside from this, no other parts of banana will be used or even its type.

This are the procedure that we do to make the banana peelings into paper
First procedure that we do is smoulder the banana into the sun in 1weeks
