(1)Properly identify the current Majority Leader, Minority Leader, Majority Whip, and Minority Whip from both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
The current Majority leader for the House of Representative is Kevin McCarthy. The Current Minority leader also for the House of Representative is Nancy Pelosi. The Majority Whip Leader for the House of Representative is Steve Scalise, and the Minority Whip leader is Steny Hoyer.
The Current Majority Leader for the Senate is Mitch McConnell. The Current Minority leader for the Senate is Harry Reid. The current Majority Whip of the Senate is John Cornyn, and the MInority Whip of the Senate is James Wadsworth Jr.

Senate. These leaders serve as the Chief senate spokesperson for their political parties. The Majority Leader and Minority Whip of the Senate are Republican.The MInority Leader and Minority Whip are Democratic. These roles are assigned through an election and give the elected individual priority in obtaining recognition to speak on the floor of the Senate. The “Assistant majority and Minority Leaders of the Senate are the second-ranking members . Their main role is to gather votes on major issues. Because they are the assistant, if at any time the Floor lead is not present (the Majority Leader) they have the ability to become “Acting floor lead.
Party Leaders as well as Whips of the House of Representatives, are elected in a “closed-door” caucus by a secret ballot. The House Majority leader’s duties may vary depending on the Speaker of the House. All Elected officials (Minority Leader, Minority Whip, Majority Leader, Majority Whip) all receive special office suites at the Capitol.
