Lost Toy
By: RJ Ravancho

Dedication Page

I dedicate this book to my kindergarten buddy, Isaiah Gilmore.
You are one of the coolest kindergarteners I know.
I predict you will love kindergarten.
I hope you continue your dream of being a Pro-Wrestler.
I wish you the best of luck for the rest of the year.
Honesty is the best policy.

Once upon a time there was a little boy, who never lost a toy. Isaiah Gilmore, the

richest kid in the world, saved all his toy.. Isaiah had carried a Trigger Happy skylander toy, everyday. He was walking to a taxi and dropped it without knowing. A boy named
Caden picked it up and tried to give it back to Isaiah, but Isaiah had already drove off in the taxi. Isaiah got in the taxi and stared out the window and he couldn’t find his toy.
Isaiah wondered what he will do now since the taxi has taken off. Caden wanted to return the toy to Isaiah.

Caden looked for many ways to give Isaiah back the toy he lost. Caden searched for Isaiah’s phone number in the phonebook, but he couldn’t find his name. Then Caden looked for him on the computer, but again, he couldn’t find him. He then took the toy to the police station. The police then think that Caden stole the toy from Isaiah. The police ask Caden if he stole the toy, and Caden kept saying no. The police didn’t believe him.
Caden thought he was in very big trouble.

Isaiah’s parents then called the police, to let them know he lost a toy. The police said, “There is a boy down here saying he found a toy. We still have the boy.” “Thank you very much for giving me this information.” Isaiah said. Isaiah then went to the police station to get his toy back. He was very excited that he could get his toy back. As Isaiah got into the police station, he was welcomed by the police. A policeman then took Isaiah to see Caden.

“Is this the boy?” Isaiah had asked. “Yes it is,” the policeman had said. “Alright, then let’s see my toy,” Isaiah had said. “But there are still some things to be determined,” the policeman had said. “Like what?” Isaiah had asked.

“If he did indeed find this toy, or did he steal it?” the policeman had said. “Does the boy look like a thief to you?” Isaiah had said. “No, but …,” the policeman had said. “But what. If this boy said he didn’t steal it, then he didn’t steal it, because no one was around me when I lost the toy,” Isaiah had said. “You have no proof!” the policeman had exclaimed. “Let’s ask the boy then,” Isaiah had said.

“Did you steal the toy, Caden?” the policeman had asked. “No, it fell out of his hand as he was walking towards a taxi. As a good person, I tried to give it to him, but the taxi drove off, “Caden had said. “Thank you,” the policeman and Isaiah had said at the same time.

After all of the toy issues were cleared, something very good happened. Isaiah had given Caden back the toy, as a reward. Isaiah then had become very good friends with Caden. They did everything together after that. They learned the true meaning of being a good friend. They lived happily ever after. The End

Adam went to Sears with his mom that day. They were going to the store to shop for lamps.” The store was approximately one mile from their home. They parked where they always did, and walked in the store holding hands. They went into the North entrance which put them in the toy department. Right in the middle of the toys was the big attraction: a television monitor displaying computer video games. They were brand new back then. Several children were playing with the game, and Adam asked if he could stay and play also. Reve said okay and told him to stay there until she returned from the lamp department. The lamps were about 75 feet away -- out of sight, but not very far. The lamps were out of stock, so Reve left her name and number. She saw a boy that had the same hat on as Adam and asked him if he had seen a boy with the same hat as him on. The child told her he had and pointed to the west exit door. Reve was positive that Adam would not go out the west door. She then asked the toy department clerk said she had not seen Adam. Reve asked everyone she came across but they all said no. She then went back to the clerks to see if she could get her to call the police. The clerk said “Oh, well, he probably just wandered off. I 'll bet he went looking for you.
