Live, Love, Laugh
THREE L’s: LIVE. LAUGH. LOVE.
James Paul R. Aquino
"LIVE LOVE LAUGH" was what it said. It made me smile and think how simple those words are, yet how serious they are. I wondered how and if I could have or do all three, simultaneously. What I discovered was it was something that came from within. Neither can you be taught to laugh and love.
LIVE
We really need to LIVE our lives to their fullest. Be good to yourself, your family and others. Be big in behavior, not small. Think mature, not immature. Keep your head about you. Consider carefully Abraham Lincoln’s thought that "in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” Or roll Oscar Wilde’s thought around during the day: “To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.” It is not at all necessary to do or have grand things to live well. All you must have is freedom and accuracy of perception and appreciation. Celebrate how great life is. The world is a beautiful place to be. Colorful. Stimulating. Interesting. With ample curiosities to keep busy for a lifetime, each thing leading to another.

LAUGH
Once you have learned to live, you can laugh and enjoy life’s moments, embrace who you are, and the things around you. Laughter makes you live longer. Laugh a little. Honestly, you will actually enjoy laughter. Your laughter can really bring someone’s day back to life, starting with your own. Think less about yesterday’s mess and think more about the good that awaits you. When you are feeling down, remember something funny that happened in your life. Laughter brightens up your day and maybe the person’s sitting next to you. Laughter helps us to live and makes it easy to love.
LOVE
To live and to laugh is to love. You have finally arrived. Love means to empower, to be compassionate, to be loyal, and to show concern for others. You have to love yourself first before you can truly love another person. Love and embrace the person you

Laughter is something that pleases the mind. Throughout our entire lives, we search for things that make us feel, even for the slightest amount of time, happy. Billy Collins writes, “Chalk dust flurrying down in winter, / nights dark as a blackboard” (Page 535). He is referring to happy times as a teenager. Being more than happy when the snow comes and school is out. Having nothing but time to be out of the house at all times of the night. Through conscious decisions, we forget about life. Sometimes even forgetting about the future.…

Laughter is important for both human emotional and mental health and it can play a helpful and healing role in parenting and family life. Laughing is one of the healthiest things one can do when confronted with the major stresses and emotional pains in life. The human capacity to laugh is significant and to understand our laughter is to go a long way toward understanding our humanity. Laughter has not always received the positive coloring it regularly enjoys in today's free societies. Laughter is a malicious response to the ignorance of others, and a principled individual must avoid such a hateful response to the faults of others(Grunberg, 2011).…

An idea for the fullest life experience is to stay happy, to live by the heart and its feelings. I take pride in trying everything that is safe in life and that will make me happy, because in the game of life, there are no second chances. You only get one shot, so you need to stop and smell the roses. Sure people, including myself, will have wishes or regrets, but I try to not let my wishes or regrets shadow the way I live the rest of my life. Live life to the fullest, and cherish every single second of it because no one knows when his or her time is up. Do not regret not living in the moment because as Alice Morse Earle wrote in her book "Sun Dials and Roses of Yesterday”, "The clock is running so make the most of today because time waits for no man. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift. That is why it is called the…
