Job You Will Like to Do
When it comes to a job that I will like to do in the future, I would like to choose teaching, which is considered one of the best jobs in the world. There are lots of children all over the world can not go to school simply due to the lack of teachers.

Several months ago, I watched a TV program showing that teachers were badly needed in many parts of our world, places like western parts of China, Southeast Asia, and Africa. It also broadcasted the stories of a couple from the United States who went to a small village in Guizhou to help those poor kids. From that moment on, I decided to be a teacher like them to help more children.

I have seen many responsible teachers who are really willing to help their students and I guess anyone can be a good teacher if you have a good education and with a caring heart, a good disposition and really willing to help children.

I strongly believe that knowledge can change one’s fate. The more you learn, the more you can do in the future, at least I believe that those kids will live a batter life and make a large contribution to our world and make it a better place.

1. Can schools prepare you better for your job and how? This is one of my favorite topics. I partially think that schools can help people to prepare better for a job. In schools, teachers just teach us foundational knowledge, and some knowledge is not related to job that we will like to do. Furthermore, with the development of technology, some knowledge that we have learned has already become out dates. For example, software technology has updated almost every year, but in school, the knowledge about software is not change every year.

However, in schools, teachers want to impart us ability of study. We can get a new knowledge or skills faster and easier. For example, many software companies have their own develop tools. When you firstly go to a new company, they will teach you some new knowledge. Because of your good ability of study, you will understand the new things in short time. On the other hand, some universities organize students to learn some career skills and tell them how to use their knowledge in a company. I think these skills can actually help students to prepare better for a job.

2. When trying to find a job, is it education the more important factors? It is a very interesting question. I would like to talk about this question from two perspectives: the past and the present.

In china, about 20 years ago, people found a job very easy. Companies didn’t care about your job experience. In other words, if you graduated from university or even from high school, you would always get a good job very easy. The reason was that lack of educational resources led to people who received highly educated becoming really rare, whereas all the companies needed a great deal of professional engineers to work.

However, nowadays, with development of infrastructure in education, governments put their attention to people’s education. More and more people receive advanced knowledge; this contributes to job competition becoming increasingly intense. Companies no longer worried about the shortage of talents instead of begin to consider how to select employees who more suitable for their companies. Consequently, job experience becomes one of the most important factors for manages to select employees.

3. Is it experience more important than education when your try to find a job? It is a very interesting question. I would like to talk about this question from two perspectives: the past and the present.

4. What other things you look for in your job? This is one of my favorite topics and I would like to talk about this topic from 2 points. Firstly, when I look for a job, the salary is one of the most important factors I will consider. Most people think that purpose of work is living better, and everyone wants to look for a well-paid job. Secondly, location of work place is also an essential factors when I looking for a job. The distance between home and work place decide that how much time you spend when you go to work, and the expense of transportation is also a important factors that we need to consideration. I totally believe that all the people want to spend less time and money on the way to work. Meanwhile long distance always lead to people feeling tired.

In some city, people face some difficult problem. They want to earn a deal of money, at same time, they also hope the distance is as close as possible. Consequently, they must balance these two factors between salary and time.

Of course, in my own utopian school system, I would be a perfect teacher. I would be very goal oriented and efficient. These traits will help to serve the majority of the students. However, I realize there are some students that need more caring, sympathetic teachers. So I wouldn't be the only perfect teacher. Two separate things can both be perfect, but still be different. Therefore, any teacher that places the students' well being and success at the forefront of their agenda, will be a good teacher in my system, regardless of their individual…
