IS IT OK TO SPY ON YOUR KIDS? Is spying on your kids ok? Whatever you want to call it, spying on your children is an interesting discussion. I do not believe that it is ok First, spying is “an invasion of privacy and a violation of trust.” (23) Educational psychologist and mother of a daughter in graduate school said that to describe spying. (22) I think a psychologist/mom would know what's best. Can't beat experience and knowledge. Children want privacy. Parents want privacy. Everyone wants privacy. If you want to ruin your relationship with your children then go ahead and spy on them. Second, where do you draw the line?
