Overview
This research analyzed the different types of informational content of a sample of various reources using a basic grounded theory methodology. This research was conducted to correlate with the issue: How Inuit communities are subjected to environmental influence due to climate change. The Analysis revealed that many changes in the environment have impeded the everyday life and appear to be documented on several occasions throughout the world. However, the research primarily focused on the records of Environmental impacts of the Inuit Tribes in the Canadian Region. More specifically, the Inuvialuit Regions will …show more content…
The problem at hand is how climate change is causing the Inuvialuit to change an adapt to the environmental alterations happening due to the disturbance in the climate. These changes are not having positive impacts on the tribes. As a matter of fact, it is impacting all of the natural resources that the tribes use to sustain their lives and communities. The three basic necessities to sustain life have been affected, such as the physical land that they live on, the nutrition and food they consume, and the water that nourishes all forms of life, vegetation, animal, and human alike.
I will explain what causes of climate change are impacting the tribes the most. It is important to understand the causes of the environmental changes. Most of what causes climate change is in direct result of human activity. This activity is affecting all those who don’t even participate in such events, (i.e. Car exhaust.) It is also important to understand the culture of the Inuvialuit. This knowledge will give a better understanding of the effects the climate change is having on the population and the struggles they are going …show more content…
(climate.nasa.gov). Quote from Intergovernmental panel on climate change: Taken as a whole, the range of published evidence indicates that the net damage costs of climate change are likely to be significant and to increase over time. Scientists have high confidences that Temeratures around the globe will continure to increase for many years to come. This is due to the greenhouse gasses produced by an overall collaboration of human activities
Greenhouse Effect is the trapping the heat inside the planet’s atmosphere. This occurs due to the gasses that are present in the Earth’s atmosphere. These gasses are Water vapor(H2O), Carbon dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4) ,Nitrous oxide (N2O), Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). These gasses are produced by various amounts of human activities.
Two main sources of greenhouse gases. Energy use: Humans derive energy from burning fossil fuels, which releases almost three quarters of all human-produced greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Half of all fossil fuels are burned to provide electricity and heat; the next big users of fossil fuels are manufacturing and transportation. Land use: How humans remove forests and use land contributes over one quarter of all human-produced greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, so logging and clearing forest land for agriculture and development means
