Integrity Matters 1. Taking longer and longer lunch breaks at working thinking no one will notice can go wrong in so many ways. Once someone notices it could lead up to getting a write up or even being terminated from the job. Getting terminated from the job could be the worst thing that could happen just from something as small as not paying attention to time. 2. Tardiness affects more than just an employee's paycheck. Late employees, especially those who come in late often, impact multiple areas of the business, including other employees and the company. Employers must handle frequently late employees quickly and in accordance with a set lateness policy to prevent the situation from escalating. 3. The consequences of missing a deadline might range from a grumpy manager to an angry client and the loss of a contract -- or maybe even the loss of your job. Everyone has to deal with deadlines. When you were in school, you had homework assignments and long-term projects. Office workers might have to prepare presentations, file documents, gather information for the boss, or complete work for a client. 4. Social media has many advantages. Twitter is a great way of keeping abreast with the news and connecting with people.
