The partner of the person I picked enjoys watching TV series and playing computer games; a typical person of his age as described in the essay. The partner is also into sports, in fact, he was once in the National team in Karate and then, basketball being part of the senior’s division varsity team during his stay in CSB. Both of them despise Accounting and Math. As I can see, they encountered confusion or change of heart concerning their college degree. As mentioned, they both shifted into another program. They are also similar in their dislikes like Accounting and Math.

Their experience of shifting out from another program is similar to mine as well as my partner’s. I think, we can get well together since me and my partner is into sports as well. Most especially my partner and the partner of the person I picked because they were both former basketball varsity players. They can talk so much about their experiences in the course of their sport. Yet experiences surely vary. Therefore, those experiences have brought them different learning which affected what they are today--depending on how they responded to the

How can people with such different personalities and ways of life have so much in common with one another? It seems nearly impossible for something to occur like that. Although, In S.E. Hinton’s novel The Outsiders two characters, Johnny Cade and Dallas Winston, are alike in some ways, but are also different in other ways. Johnny and Dallas are alike because they both have neglectful and abusive parents who do not care about them, and they care about each other. Although, they do have their differences like their personalities, and their thoughts on the laws. Dally and Johnny are very different, but it is clear that they are very similar in some ways.…

In conclusion, my two friends that I met in college shared some differences and similarities. Although they both are the same race, they still have something that is different. For example, they were born in two different countries. As you can see, we can't judge people by their races and think that they are all the same if they are same…

At the beginning of this unit Barbara Jordan states “We, as human beings, must be willing to accept people who are different from ourselves”. In my opinion, I agree to this quote and strongly support it. My reason beginning, is because if we do not accept people who are different from use we will be arguing with every person we see. The reason why I say this is because everyone is different from others. This is why I strongly support Barbara Jordan's statement.…

Given that I have had previous experience with people from various cultures and differing worldviews, I may have more of an advantage than most with this topic. I have lived in group housing that taught me valuable lessons in dealing with those who have different ideas and values than me, and found that if I allow myself to be open and receptive, I can see where others’ perspectives originate, and find something worthwhile in other’s disputes. On the other hand, people always surprise me and you never can be sure what someone is going to do or say. Even typically mild-mannered people can become volatile or upset, especially when interacting with others in emotional circumstances, myself included.…

The community I live and work with is all sorts of people, from young 18 y/o up to them in their late 70’s. They all come from different ethnic background which means they all have different believes, lifestyles and social and cultural identities as well. I come originally from Poland, I was born in a Christian family however I would consider myself as atheist, as I don’t believe in any god. I know people in my community that are Christian, Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism and Buddhism. We all have different interests and lifestyles, most of the people that I know are married couples or are in the relationship and there is a huge difference in their lifestyle comparing to the single people, they have more responsibilities such as children or family home. We all enjoy going out to town, some of us like sports such as judo, some others like to have a gym work out instead. There is also a group of people that likes to get together and go paintballing every few weeks. We all have our own interests as well, we listen to different music, have different culinary taste and have different fashion styles. There are people that enjoys the Saturday in the theatre when others like to have a night out in the club or a weekend at home with family. We all lead different lifestyles which is mainly determined by our age and social class and culture identity. Some people lead an active lifestyle, others prefer stay at home.…
