How Did Lady Tremaine Influence The Work?
Cinderella

Long ago in a faraway land there lived a rich evil lady named Lady Tremaine. She had 2 daughter from a previous marriage named Drizella and Anastasia. She was a very nice but bossy lady. Lady Tremaine couldn’t understand why people didn’t like even though she killed her previous husband. She killed only because he was poor, and she thought that he would be a bad influence on her daughters. So then she heard that there was a rich man with a daughter. The daughter's name was Cinderella. Lord Tremaine needed someone to marry. So Lady Tremaine married Lord Tremaine. Once they were married Lord Tremaine got very sick and died.

“Cinderella,” said Lady Tremaine, “You are our servant now. Go mop the floors!”

Cinderella then became their servant. The reason why Lady Tremaine treated Cinderella the way she did because she was jealous of her. Lady Tremaine was also very stressed with raising three girls by herself. She put Cinderella’s room in the attic so Cinderella wouldn’t be a bad influence on the girls. Lady Tremaine made Cinderella do all the work because Lady Tremaine grew up in a rich family with servants that did all the work for her. Lady Tremaine didn’t know how to cook, clean, or sew. She was only good at shopping and saving

    First of all, the description given of Cinderella is much more detailed and specific than the description given of Little Red Riding Hood. Readers of Cinderella’s story know that her mother died when she was very young, that her father remarried a woman who doesn’t care much for Cinderella, and that she now has two wicked step-sisters, Anastasia and Drizella, who make the concept of a blended family little more than a nightmare for Cinderella. The reader immediately feels a sense of sympathy for Cinderella. But, people still tend to have a problem with the story, thinking it feminist. In the film, the stepmother and step sisters obsess over their own looks and constantly put down Cinderella, even her name is a mockery. Then there is also the fact that the Prince ‘saves’ her from her life of misfortune and misery. But I don’t think that this is the case. Kenneth Branagh, the director of the film, balances the old with the new. He keeps aspects of the original Walt Disney film while modernising the character of Cinderella. The film focuses on the message that you should be kind to others, even if they are not kind themselves instead of beauty.
