HONESTY
By Bryce Erickson Today I would like to talk about honesty. Honesty is defined as the state of telling the truth. I would like to talk about how it I important to be honest to your parents, family, siblings, friends, and everyone around you. I will also talk about where you can get depending on how honest and trustworthy in your life and work you are. I will mention all of these and more in this essay. I will first talk about the reason of importance of being honest to your parents. It is important to be honest to your parents because if you are honest to your parents they will be able to trust you, but, if you lie about every little thing possible like video games, they will not be able to believe you when something big happens and you’re telling the truth. They will think you are not telling the truth. Also if you are honest and your parents can trust you, they may reward you and allow you to do more things or buy things. If all you do is lie to them all the time they will most likely limit what you do, ground you, and not allow you to do fun things like playing games, fishing, playing sports, or playing with your friends. Also, if you tell them the truth they will have more respect for you and will appreciate that you are being honest and will not be as mad as if you were to lie. If you’re honest your whole family can trust you. When you are honest to your family, they can trust you more, and the more they may help you in the future. When your family trusts you they will ask you for help and ask more questions. They may also ask you for help with an important project that they have to do for school because they

    Of the seven Army Values in my opinion integrity maybe the most important one due to the fact taking full responsibility for their actions at all times don’t matter if it’s good or bad. Doing what’s right, legally and morally at all times when no one is around is what makes us soldiers and leaders. Integrity is definitely a vital factor in ensuring a successful deployment of any unit. Everyone must trust each other to accomplish the mission and keep each other safe. For example, the Command Sergeant Major has to trust that the Battalion Sergeant Major has the integrity to train and lead his Soldiers to and from combat. Just as the Battalion Sergeant Major has to trust that the Company First Sergeant can do the same at their level.
