October is nearing, and we are all well aware of what comes with the Autumn month. A notable holiday that strikes both fear and joy in the hearts of both young and old. When one mentions Halloween, we cannot help but picture spooky images and movies rather than the origin in which Halloween actually came from. Nevertheless, picturing the common activities and eerie films that are portrayed with Halloween is not an incorrect way of thinking; however, I would like to bring forth a few questions. Is the candy, unearthly tales, and movies all that is to Halloween? What lies beneath all the junk food and individuals in costumes? What isolates this holiday and makes it eccentric comparing to other holidays? I would like to answer these questions by giving you the origin of this intriguing holiday.
