Abstract

Smoking is known to be a primary cause of harmful effects on health, family, environment and society. However, scientist research in health and environment, that researches show that smoking cause many diseases, even lung cancer. An aim of my study has been to determine that smoking also effect on family and society. Results indicated that smoking was not only effect on environment, health but also effect on family, society.

Introduction In 1868, the smoking advertisements first appeared and Bill Durham became first leading tobacco to advertise at a big scale. Since there, there have been numerous findings about harmful effects of smoking cigarettes. They affect three problems: health, family and environment and society. However, according to Richmond (1994), nicotine produces a good effect for the individual in a way that it helps people relieve stress and generates a certain “calming effect”. Besides, Hollywood and other media productions associate smoking with manliness, and maturity
Harmful effects of smoking on our health Every year thousands of people die because of lung cancer or other tobacco related illnesses. (Adam Newell Teacher). Everyone in the world comes in contact with smoke from a cigarette at least once in their lifetime, whether it is at a restaurant or at work. Millions of people are addicted to smoking, and thousands more become addicted every year. Cigarettes and other tobacco products are everywhere. Most of the addicted smokers started when they were young. Almost data showed that the rate of the young smokers was affected by heart diseases are very high (Stopper, Melissa Conard, and Marks, Jay W. Lung Cancer). The reason why people get addicted to any type of tobacco product is because all tobacco products have nicotine in them, which is the addictive ingredient

    Smoking has become a trend in today’s world, even though people know how harmful it is. Smoking causes are obvious it will ruin your health and give you series of health issues. In America 85% teenagers first start smoking from the age of fifteen and sixteen, smoking tobacco is really addicting. Smoking causes heart diseases, blood pressure, series of cancers such as, lung cancer, mouth cancer and throat cancer. I have noticed that many people in my relatives who smoked all their youth quit smoking in their forties after experiencing heart attacks. Some of the people don’t even quit after they realize they are having health issues. This is all because of being addicted to nicotine. There are several brands of cigarettes and people assume some different brands will affect them less. The fact is whether you smoke the “lights” or the “regular” brands, it will affect your health either ways. The most health ruining cigarette is the menthol brands which not only gives you health problems like regular cigarette but also can cause a man impotency. Smoking does not only cause health issues, but in depth it makes you look bad in front of many people and own families. Smokers can cause themselves as a bad image human being since it represents their personality and make them smell bad. A husband who smokes while being with his wife and kids may cause them serious breathing problems. Second hand smoke is what also smokers cause to their surrounding people, which is more awful than first hand smoking. Quitting nicotine is never easy but its not impossible, will power is all smokers need and sake of their beloved ones and quit on nicotine, there are several anti-nicotine classes and seminars all over the world so that smokers can know the bright side of quitting nicotine. Smoking yet also causes people to stay away from smoker, public views a smoker as bad person and probably will want to maintain distance from smokers.…
