Gun control in the United States has become a highly controversial topic over the years. There have been plenty of debates on the gun control laws and people have taken to being either pro gun control laws or anti gun control laws. One thing we can’t deny would be that gun control laws would keep us all safer and even save lives. Statistic show that more guns equals to more homicide cases. If more citizens have easy access to guns, they’re more likely to kill than if they didn’t have easy access to the guns. Public places like schools, restaurants, and churches are not acceptable places for people to be carrying guns; it puts the public in danger. It should be illegal. This is of course false. A stricter gun law would be to protect the public people and would stop those who should not have a gun from getting one legally. Guns should not be allowed in public places like schools, churches, and restaurants. It put the people there in danger; it’s a public safety issue. There is never a good outcome from someone bringing a gun in a public place where people gather. More guns ultimately equal to more violence and murders in the United States. A stricter gun law would make it harder for the public people to attain a weapon; they would have to undergo a background check and sometimes a behavioral evaluation. If the person is a law-bidding citizen like they say then a simple background should not be a problem for them to pass. Most mass shooter who go on rampages and massacre number of people in public places have physical and psychological problems and a thorough background, and behavioral check could have prevented them from getting their guns in which they used to commit the crime.
