Life Goals

There are many things in life people intend to accomplish, but never get far at doing

them. Having set realistic goals, that you are able to achieve, and working hard to reach

them is a step in helping your personal life now, get to where you want it to be for a better

future. Starting college has helped me in many ways like setting my own goals for personal

reasons, academic, and career.

Personal goal in life at this moment, would have to be getting my house remodeled

and complete by the first of 2016. I would like my home to feel more like a home rather

then a frat house. Getting this done is not a hard goal in life, its just one that takes time. I

would like to have my living room and kitchen done by the 1st of 2015. As well as

having all the supplies need to finish our home. Having started this goal already, it’s a one step at a time process. Getting my kitchen floor up and done within the next two weeks is

my first step, and motivation for completing this. There are things holding me back, like

money being a big part. I am working more to make sure I can afford little things for now

like paint. As for the big things like flooring Craig list is the place to look, as you find things

need for cheap or even nothing at all.

In education I would like to get my Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy

degrees from UF College of Veterinary Medicine with a 3.5 GPA, by 2018. This is not

Just a life goal but a life dream. I love animals, and feel that there a part of family and life

no mater how you feel about them, there going to be around just as long as we are, if not longer. I will obtain this achievement by starting at Valencia and getting my AA with a 4.0

GPA and graduating in 2016. First thing first, getting back into the groove of classes

“Some reliable information about veterinarians is that they use problem-solving skills and in-depth knowledge of biological, physical and social science to diagnose, treat and prevent animal diseases” (Veterinarian, 2015). This proves that being a veterinarian is the job for me because I use problem-solving skills in today’s situations. “The key interest of being a veterinarian is they get to work directly with animals on a daily basis and they play a vital part in making sick animals better” (Benefits of being a vet, 2015). This interests me because animals have always been a part of my life, so it would be a blessing to have the ability to working a environment with things in which I love. Therefore, UC Davis offers hands-on training with animals. UC Davis also offers a great veterinarian program and classes in which…
