Food Monologue
It’s been three days. Three whole days without food or water, and I’m sure I’ve been bitten by a million bugs. They said they were coming to find me, but that never seemed to happen. What if I’m too far away? Will they ever find me? I’ve been yelling out for help, but no one ever comes. I’m stuck up in a tree, it’s too far to just jump down and it’s hard to find lower branches. All I can hear is the chirping of a bird beside me and a barking dog in the distance.
Are leaves safe to eat? Honestly, at this point I don’t even care. Eating them and maybe dying somehow seems better than not eating anything and to slowly die of starvation. I reach out for a large green leaf and take a bite. It doesn’t have much of a flavour, but my aching stomach

I haven't had the opportunity to read the book though I've wanted to after seeing the movie. It seems like a very violent descent into insanity in the movie, cut by pieces of harsh violence and yuppie culture. What I'd be curious of figuring out would be the entire internal monologue. Most of the movie rides on his monologue and very little on what people say or think as if they are just props in his life.…

That’s just great. My niece decided to leave her children here. I don't remember seeing a sign in front of my house designating it as a daycare center. It's not a place where you drop your children off on date night. I'm not a free babysitter. I am a grown man and I am getting tired of this. Therefore, I'm going to tell you all a story about me. One that I hope you tell your parents. Maybe then they'll stop dropping you off here and my future will have fewer interruptions. I rather be watching baseball god dammit.…

    I Am the Cheese Monologue

    • 674 Words
    • 3 Pages

I am confused. My name is Adam Farmer and also Paul Delmonte. I witnessed my mother and father murdered which truly makes me the cheese. I’m scared every time I think about them. I don’t want to speak about them but I fear I must to conquer the feelings. I knew my mother didn’t have any friends and my father told me that we had no family. My mother spent most of her time in her room and would have a phone call every Thursday evening and it would last a very long time. I didn’t really know my parents very well. They were mysterious to me. It was as if they were hiding myself from me, if that makes any sense. They used to whisper about me in their bedroom, with the door shut. I heard what they were talking about and I realized that they had been lying to me about my identity. My father almost caught me listening in but luckily he didn’t because I panicked and ran away before he could open the door. (1 minute) I was too scared to confront my parents about what I heard them talking about. I thought about telling Amy, my girlfriend, about how weird my parents are but I was scared of what type of opinion she would make of my family. Amy is someone who doesn’t take life too seriously. I think that she is the opposite of me because she isn’t ever afraid and she doesn’t panic, unlike me. I hate people that try to act like they are really tough, luckily they are usually stupid. There were a group of bullies that tried to take my bike and my package away from me. They weren’t clever enough to figure out that I left my bike with the police and they chased me to the police station where I rested for a while because they wouldn’t dare come near me then. Amy’s mother and my mother are also different as my mum stays home all day and her mum spends most of her time outside her house. I am afraid of a thousand things, a million. Like it is to be claustrophobic and yet fear open spaces too. I panic when I try to call Amy from a telephone booth and every time I come across a dog it…

    Tent and Board Games

My camping trip was a very bad experience. A friend's brother was planning to go to camping for a weekend, and they invited me. We were excited because we thought would be fun. First, we made a list of everything we would need, packed our suitcases and started our way. The weather was bad, but my friend's brother decided to go no matter what. First, the road was in a poor condition. It was so bad that I threw up twice! Second, the location where we were going to stay for 2 nights was terrible. I already felt bad enough due to the road, and when I saw the place, I realized that I wanted to go back home. Nevertheless, we decided to stay in front of a big tree and made a bonfire between the camping tents. My camping tent was on the left and the other one was next to us. After a while, everyone went to sleep. Third, I was attacked by a snake at midnight. I felt something crawling on me; I jumped up and started to scream. Everyone woke up and went to my camping tent to see what was happening. There was a snake inside my tent and creeping on me! I was so scared and no one knew what to do. My friend's brother killed the snake with a sharp stick. After that, I could not sleep anymore. The next day, we played board games, listened to music and walked across the forest. While we were walking, I saw an iguana at the top of a tree. Soon we came back to our place because it started to get dark. We talked for a few hours and went to sleep. Finally, to make things worse, it rained so badly that the camping tents came down. We spent the rest of the night under the tree. When the sun rose, we left the place to go back home. In conclusion, my camping trip was a disaster.…
