It is true that many deaths occur with property of gun ownership. This eventually goes on depending on the person who's with a gun. As mentioned before, a gun doesn't kill people, people do. You can't blame guns for deaths because it's the people who do the action, due to that being said the people should be blame and be seen as harmful. The people who cause the chaos with the gun should be banned from using the gun and the gun should not be abolished from the United States.
Guns may be viewed as both as a source of security and a threat to the same security, depending on who is using it, when and where. However, when we talk of control of guns, we specifically imply handguns. At the same time, use of these handguns by civilians has resulted to the injuries of the criminals as well as innocent citizens. Therefore, there is need to check on the handgun ownership to avoid these accidental deaths, but also not banned the gun ownership completely.

Secondly, because there is no limit of guns a person can own legally, gun dealers are now as common as drug dealers and this increases the unlicensed gun ownership. I think that, lots of people with uncontrolled number of guns cause so many problems for police departments for the reason that, it is so difficult to identify guns and their owners during a case. For instance, a common type of gun and ammo is difficult to identify in addition, it is easy to purchase it from dealers. Normally, guns are joined together to a license of a person and policemen check the license to find the owner of the gun, but if you purchase it from a dealer, it doesn't join to your license. Guns do a lot of bad, but do a lot more good for society. Banning guns will not stop the problem, but will just make it worse. Guns are apart of our society as Americans they have been around since colonial years, and are not leaving anytime soon. “The number of guns in America has increased by more than 50 percent since 1993, and in that same period the gun homicide rate in the United States has dropped by half. (Kristof, The Times).” Guns offer protection for individuals. One day you could be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and a shooting breaks out, you will pray there is someone else there with a concealed firearm to help control the situation while waiting for police to arrive. They can’t do that if guns are banned. “We need to understand that we cannot stop crimes and murders. And banning guns would be a step, or two, backwards instead of moving forward in the right direction (The Times News).” The research conducted to produce this paper was drawn from a multitude of sources all with different…

The currently accepted meaning of the Second Amendment is that it gives militias and individuals the right to bear arms, the right to own firearms (“Second Amendment to the United States Constitution”). However even though the right to bear arms is given to every American it can be revoked, many states have sensible laws that restrict where you can take a firearm and who can own them, and many Americans support these restrictions even though they technically…

Gun ownership is constitutionally protected by the Second Amendment to the Constitution, which concerns the right to bear arms. However, it does not mean that anyone can simply walk into a store and purchase a gun and that is all there is to it. Federal law sets the minimum standards for firearm regulation in the United States, but individual states have their own laws, some of which provide further restriction, others which are more lenient (Masters).
