- First of all, I would like to start off by showing you a list of male athletes. I would like you to look at them and I’ll give you a minute to see if you recognise any of them. Now put your hands up if you recognize one of more of these male athletes. If you recognise three or more keep your hands up. And keep your hands up if you recognize 5 or more of these athletes.

- Now I would like to show you a list of female athletes. Again I would like you to look at them and see if you recognize any of them. So put your hands up if you know one of more of these athletes. It is Superbowl Sunday. You have family and friends over to watch the game. The room fills with the aroma of pizza, wings, and nachos. You hear the sounds of laughter and talking; that all stops instantaneously; as the quarterback receives the ball and gets tackled,he does not get back up. I was wondering if I could come in and talk to you about the physical education requirements needed to graduate. I have my own strict personal workout routine that I do daily, and adding a sport would be both physically and mentally tiring. I understand that I could just stop my routine to save my time and energy for the sport, but I have done this routine for years and it keeps me fit and awakens my brain. The workout applies to my body, my strengths, and my weaknesses personally. I am contacting you to ask for a time that I can come in and talk to you about what the real benefits of and reasons that doing a sport are and how it differs from my personal workout. $53.4 Million the combined salary of the top 15 paid coaches in division 1 college football, $0 the combined salary of all student-athletes. Over the past few decades, college athletics have gained popularity across the United States. Whether it is football, basketball, or baseball, ever since the turn of the century, intercollegiate sports have brought in a surplus of revenue to their respective Universities. A recent study found that the University of Texas’ Athletic Program had the highest revenue of any other University at a little over $120 million. Yet with this large sum of money, NO college athletes are legally compensated for their work. According to NCAA rules, “You are not eligible for participation in a sport if you have ever: Taken pay or the promise of pay, for competing in that sport”. While it may seem odd and unjust to pay college athletes, the reality is that compensation of such athletes is a necessity not only to keep competition at a steady level in college athletics, but also to encourage students to graduate and get their college degrees.…

Argumentative Speech Good morning ladies, here we are in the year 1904, surrounded by multiple ideas of who should do what and what one shouldn’t do. Thing is that's just a matter of ideology, as I stand here and instruct you all in behalf of us (the Negro women) I don’t understand, nor settle to the idea of having limited amount of resources each of us “can” do. For example the jobs we are allowed to conduct and how only very little of us can actually become a professional. Perhaps not being able to take self decisions on what we may desire, has always been a huge controversial topic in the other races.…

“I’m done, I did what I was supposed to. My baby is going to get here safe.” Were one of the last words Idaho teen Jenni Lake said after delivering her baby. Around 2010 Jenni Lake discovered she was pregnant with her long-time boyfriend Nathan Wittman which started the unfortunate decision for Jenni to continue treatment and seek other options for the baby or to stop treatment and give birth to a possible healthy baby. Jenni chose to stop treatment for her baby the ultimate sacrifice a mother could do. I believe Jenni made the right choice seeing how the situation was and under the circumstances if I was in her shoes I…
