IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY
The word family has multiple meanings in the dictionary. It is ‘a social unit living together’ or ‘parents and their children, considered as a group, whether dwelling together or not’. In a broader term, relatives can also be added to this group. But it is much more than that. Family is the first learning place of an individual in this world. Starting from childhood till old age, he learns everything from his family. He sees his family members walking and starts trying that. He sees them speaking and he tries to copy them. Gradually he learns the basic communication among individuals in the family. He also learns how to love, how to behave, how to come along in life, all from his family. This develops a sort of affection among all family members. They are always there to help each other.
The elder siblings help a lot to their young ones. Parents guide their children at every step they take in life until they become independent. The early 5-7 years spent in the family build a strong relationship among all family members and it keeps them together the whole life. Friends come in our lives much later while family is there since day one. We might change our friends later in life but we never want to lose our family, even if we have differences with our family members. This is because we know that our family will always be there for us.
The family systems works like a chain. Younger people learn from elders while elders depend on their kids for a lot of things. When kids grow up, get married and have their own children, the whole cycle is repeated again. Family members will always come to your rescue whenever you need them. They always support you in different ways whether it be financial or moral. You can always share your problems with your family and you always find a better solution for your problems after a discussion in the house. We can’t make it out without our family in life. It is one of the greatest blessings of God. We often meet

What I`ve learned in my family is that a family that loves each other, cares for each other. Almost every family is like that, in the book “The Watson`s go to Birmingham 1963” by Christopher Paul Curtis you can tell that their family shows each other love, and when life gets hard and bad things happen like death they stick together . Even in the Winter when it`s below Zero degrees It`s shows how much they love and care for each other.…

Although this statement is true, some would disagree and say that the meaning to the word “family” goes far beyond that simple definition. Many people consider friends, schoolmates, animals, friends of a parent, and co-workers to be their family as well. Your whole family can be made up of many people that are not necessarily your real family. The relationship you share with another individual classifies them as a family member. These people may not be your relative at all, but someone you feel a strong connection to for one reason or another.…

Family is an abstract concept that could be interpreted in many various forms. According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, Family is “a group of individuals living under one roof” “of common ancestry” and of “an identifiable strain” “united by certain convictions or a common affiliation”. But family may be to many much more than that. It is an invisible bond attaching people together, interweaving their lives and creating family strengths which is defined by ECI Standards Manual for Contracted Programs Glossary as “characteristics that family members identify as contributing to the growth and development of the child and family. Among the areas of family life that many families identify as strengths are coping strategies, nurturing relationships, communication, religious or personal beliefs, family competence, and family/community interconnectedness”.…

Currently, in the UK, the family is a fairly unregulated sphere of life, compared with different societies such as China. Laws and social policies in Britain today tend to encourage or discourage certain types of families, rather than actively enforcing them like China’s one child policy. Government agencies and institutions only seem to take an active role on policing areas of family life when things are perceived to have gone wrong, such as regulating the fair distribution of assets following the breakdown of a marriage.…

Or is FAMILY the ones that love you unconditionally and is there for you no matter what? Well my perception of family is the ones who consider me family. Like the bible says everyone is your brother and sister.
