1.0 Proposed Project Title

Fallen Angel is a film about an angel named Kushiel always played naughty games in heaven. As a punishment, she was sent down to earth to change one person from being involved in fights and gang wars. Drake, a member of a gang and always gets involved in fights was the person to be changed. On her way in her mission, she met Drake's mother suffering in an illness. Join Kushiel as she helps Drake to change his life.

2.0 Area of Investigation

This project is a CGI film where special effects will be applied using Adobe After Effects CS6. Adobe Premiere Pro (or any video editing software) for video edits and Adobe Audition CS6 for audio edits. DSLR Video Cameras will be used for videography, tripods for stabilization, reflectors for light balancing and laptops with Intel Core i3 or better and AMD video card with 1.5GB RAM or the likes for the production process.

3.0 Reason for choice of study

The film industry in our country particularly in films with computer-generated imagery is improving slowly. As contributors, we want to showcase our talents and skills as digital arts students. Also, we want to be able to establish a good foundation in the film industry. In addition, being a role model for the future researchers is one of our visions.

4.0 Significance of the study

5.0 Target beneficiaries

This film is aiming to reach on teenagers who lost their way towards decent and good life. It also aims to be an excellent sample for the future

    The development of film can be a process that is extensive and complex. Film analysis helps the viewer to understand what the director is trying to convey to the audience. To analyze a film successfully, it is important to understand how collaborative filmmaking really works.     7th, Decembar 2012 in Bombay, fortunately I could visit an animation festival named 24FPS Annual International Animation Awards which was held by MAAC, the animation academy that provide education of 3D animation, VFX, filmmaking, graphics design and gaming in Bombay. The venue was alive with young animation and gaming fans. Comparing to gaming section, animation sections were comparatively smaller, but I found one section gathered many young generations. The section of Vimanica Comics, sold comic books and T-shirts and I could notice that many young bought them. I asked a girl which comic books were recommended and she recommended me Shiba: The Legends of the Immortal, and she also mentioned one of Vimanica Comic’s works would be made to animation. India has many comic books like the series named Amar Chitra Katha about their culture and history aimed to educate their kids. In my research proposal, this research was aimed to draw the conditions of Indian animation industry, especially two aspects as follows; First, the role of the Indian animation industry in global animation production. The study examines the relationship between the animation industries in India and those in the US or Japan. The key advantage of India, in this case its animation industry, is that it has highly skilled labour and low cost of production. The second focus will be on studying the government’s role in supporting India’s animation industries and understanding the scenario and problems faced by the overall industry. However, the second part, the government’s rolls are very limited according to the fieldwork. So in this report I draw the history and recent conditions of India animation industry as a mutual place of global economy and local culture.…
