Introduction
In the modern world, e-mails, social network services and an electronic bulletin board are the most important communication tools. In these communication tools, pictorial images called emoticons are often used by all generations to express their feelings in addition to ordinary texts. According to the survey carried out by MyVoice Corporation (2007), 78.4% of Japanese people use emoticons when they e-mail, and the emoticons that are used the most often are kaomoji, which are shaped similar to human facial expressions. Facial emoticons are often used to express the emotions that cannot be expressed only with the ordinary text messages.

Thus, it is expected to be recognized by human in the same process as human use to recognize real facial expressions in daily lives. In the case of the human face recognition, a mouth of happiness have a big influence, and the combination of a mouth of happiness and eyes of other emotions is likely to be regarded as a happy face (Manuel & Andre´s, 2012). On the other hand, eyes of sadness and anger have big influences in the recognition of the sad and anger face (Hedwig & Georg, 2011). Therefore, the combination of sad or angry eyes and other facial parts of other feelings are regarded as sad or angry facial expressions. Thus, it is expected that emoticons that have a mouth of happiness are also likely to be regarded as happy faces without regard to the emotion other parts of the face show. Similarly, the face with sad or anger eyes are regarded as a sad or angry face without regard to the other parts of the face. If this hypothesis is true, we can say that making the happy, sad and anger emoticons relatively easy, and it requires to make a completely new eyes and mouth to generate the emoticons of other emotions such as fear, surprise and disgust. From this research, it can be said that it is required to make completely new eyes to make emoticons that express surprise. However, the result of this research didn’t perfectly explain the result of the background paper, which showed that the number of emoticons which express happiness, sadness and anger were relatively bigger than that of emoticons which express other basic emotions. The effect of the mouth of happiness to the happy impression was lower than the effect of the surprise and anger eyes to the surprise or anger impressions. To explain the result of the background paper, it is required to prove the variety of eyes are bigger than that of mouths. Further research was required to confirm that it is easier to make variety of happy mouths than the variety of surprise or anger eyes. Furthermore, in this research, the sample size was not enough to conclude the statistically verifiable result. It is required to conduct a research that has bigger sample size to confirm the results. In addition, it is also required to study the coloration between the size of eyes or mouth and the effect each facial part has in the recognition of the
