Wigs are an incredibly versatile and stealthy form of extension. Wigs can be made of lace, a standard or wefted cap or monofilament. Lace wigs are most popular. They are made from durable French lace and offer the most realistic hairline. However, monofilament wigs offer the most versatility because of the natural-looking appearance of the scalp because of the construction of the cap. Monofilament wigs are made of nylon or polyester mesh, with each strand of hair hand tied to the base. If you want a sudden change in hairstyles, color or length, a wig is your best option. You can purchase one at almost any beauty supply store and generally you can purchase a decent one that will last for about six months for under one hundred and fifty dollars. Of course, the more money you spend, the better the structure of the cap and quality of hair used will be.
