Explain Why Schools Should Have 4 Weeks
School should have four days weeks because teachers get more time to prepare for the week. Kids also get more time to do homework. Teachers can get things out for the week. The article states if teachers get time to prepare they can spend less time thinking of what they need on a school day. Teachers get more time teaching than figuring out what they need. If kids get more time to do homework then they could get better grades in homework. If teachers can get things out in advance then the kids will be able to learn more in a day.
All schools should have four day weeks. Teachers get time to prepare. Kids get more time for homework. Teachers can get stuff out for the week.

Changing the five day school week has been argued for and against due the controversy as to whether or not it would actually be beneficial to students and teachers. When approaching the idea, many people would like to believe that five day school weeks are the most efficient and productive way to educate our youth. What is often overlooked, however, is that it is causing students to dread school more than they already do, and lessen their willingness to be in or attentive at school. Not only this, but many teachers easily get behind on either grading or lesson planning, while the school could actually save money when switching to this schedule. By refreshing the way the school schedule has previously been, we can address the issue of exhausted students who don 't truly learn anything, teachers who are overwhelmed with work and the economic questions within America 's schools. Providing both students and teachers with a more equal week of break and school time by having Wednesdays off will make students more willing to attend school, give the teachers time to furnish their lesson plans and give the school a break in costs.…

If four day weeks were introduced to schools, the students and schools will both benefit. The schools will save a significant amount of money and students will excel academically and behavior will improve drastically. Whenever we have a student/teacher holiday, less students are absent and behave because they are looking forward to less days of the week. Money for instance, could be a major problem for some families, for example, electricity and more school supplies could be a hassle for some school districts. It could also be unhealthy for the students because towards the end of the year, they get tired and are not wanting to participate in the lessons anymore and they’d also get more stressed out during the whole year. From all the school work that we will have if we’re having school all year round, they won’t be able to go outside and be free like they are in the summer, instead they’ll have more homework to worry about, or they just won’t do it.…

By the time students become seniors, they have already lost some interest and are excited to be able to graduate. If they were to change the traditional school schedule, it would be a lot of confusion especially for parents that have to worry about getting their child to school. It would also cost our country a lot of money to switch the traditional school schedule. By eliminating summer break, students would not be able to experience the joy and freedom of the summer and the special time that would usually be spent with family and friends. Then when everyone goes back to school, they reunite with their friends from the last year or meet new people. If you take away a student's ability to have a vacation you increase the risk of…

Many schools in the United States are beginning to change their school calendar so their students attend class all year round. The changes still allow the students time off in the summer, but they do not have the three months of break most students in America receive traditionally. Instead, they get a break of a couple weeks in the summer, and the remainder of the time is divided up and put into other breaks throughout the year. All schools in America should switch to a year-round calendar to accommodate the different and higher level of learning needed to be successful in our changing world and society. The traditional school system was designed many years ago when our country was an agricultural nation. Therefore, the school calendar was developed having a long break in the summer so students could assist their family with cultivating crops and other aspects of farm life. The traditional school calendar was not a calendar for higher learning, and should be extended to meet the needs of modern day students. There are many explanations as to why the traditional school calendar should be changed.…
