Explain how quality management can be measured.
It is important to measure the quality goods and services provided by an organisation. By some measurement organisation can find out that the products or services are not in their best quality. It helps to management the each step has taken during the production to serve level.

For specific production need additional material or inventory which are generally not be used, for sold goods service done because they need warranty repairs. Whereas, for sold goods and services customer complain. Liability judgment has to be made, recalls and corrective actions need to take for products. By assessing customer’s feedback and their requirements, an organisation may judge their quality management,

They can bring up the quality of service level provided by organisation by leaving a comment or feedback. If an organisation received more positive comments, it would mean that the organisation level of customer satisfaction level is good with products and services given by the company.

Number of defective products
The lesser the number the better the quality management. It improves efficiency and reduces costs.

Standard of complaints
Most companies evaluate the quality service by the number of complaints they receive. Once organisation realises the level of performance, also will harm the status of the and they may lose their customers as well. So they need to make sure that they provide excellent quality service and product to their customers. In other way round receiving complaints organisation get to know what are their bad areas of quality and can be improved by employees to go through the right track on their service or product.

Previous performance
In quality management there is an important role that past performance can give chance to play again to get better result. This will help organisation to motivate their staff within their field.

It can be applied to strategic policies at the operations, process, products and organisational structures. By adopting best practices organisations can improve their company’s performance. Best practice usually means identifying organisation that doing something to get best outcome and try to match how they do it.

Check sheets
Check sheets are data gathering tools that can be used in forming histograms, they can be either tabular, computer based, or schematic. This provides a chart for copier operators to mark each time a delay occurs in setting up new jobs. Setting up a check sheet involves identifying common defects occurring in the process. Draw a table with common defects in the left column and time period across the tops of the columns to track the defects.

Histogram are simply graphical representations of data in a bar format. A frequency chart is used for categorical data, while histograms are used for continuous numerical data. Histograms are also used to observe the shape of data. There are several rules for developing
