On June 14, 1777 the new nation “America” now had a national flag. America is now a independent country and are on their own away from great Britain after winning the war. This paper will explore and inform you of the American flag history and significance. The American flag represents the United States freedom from Great Britain. burns strong in every citizens mind. The flag is the reason most of the people that live in our state are free and are allowed to live in the U.S. safely. Such as the people trying to come across the borders, American government tries to do a good job of monitoring who we let in our country. Also taking care of criminals and giving them the correct punishment. The unity of our country is the strongest it’s been in a while; no matter the race or ethnicity of the people that live here we all work as one country and for the most part we all get along. However some people in the U.S. are still racist and crucial to others which I do not agree with. I’m just blessed that the racial criticism has gotten better than it used to be, the flag has allowed us to form into a more unified nation and be more kind to one another.
