B1: Describe the terms and conditions of your employment as set out in your contract of employment or employment agreement
During my employment with Care UK Woodland Hall nursing home, they may need to check and process my personal details, details of criminal record and medical data. Care UK will ensure that my personal info is kept securely and will not disclose this information as according to the Data Protection Act 1998. My employment was subject to a 6 months’ probation, and at any time the employment may be terminated or at the end of the probationary period of four weeks prior written notice. Care UK required all proof of right to work in the UK documentation to be eligible for employment.
Care UK may also require collecting confidential data for equal opportunities monitoring purposes, such as age, gender, gender, race, religious feeling and any disability. When I signed the employment contract, I agreed to Care UK, holding and using this information in this way.

My employment with Care UK was subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and if necessary. My employment was also subject to the receipt of satisfactory, full background checks through the Criminal Records Bureau.
