EOP Application Questions

Make sure that your answers are concise and thorough(300 words minimum for each questions. Make sure that you answer them honestly and to the best of your ability. Turn this assignment in on time and do not procrastinate. This helps students get a second chance into the college.

Q#1: List any volunteer, extracurricular activities, or work experience in which you are or have been involved in the past two years.
Q#2: Why would you like to attend college? Discuss your career and personal goals. Are there any particular circumstances, school experiences, or persons that influenced your preparation or motivation to attend college (e.g. cultural/financial background, family teachers, schools you attended)? Please explain.
Q#3: Please discuss your academic background. Did you utilize any additional support at your high school, such as tutoring? Do your grades in high school and/or college reflect your academic ability or potential?
Q#4: Briefly describe your family’s economic background. Include information about your financial challenges.
Q#5: Please tell us more about yourself. Is there any additional information you would like
EOP to consider in determining your admission to the program?

An additional part of your application is find two people willing to recommend you to the EOP program. Ideally they know you and your family situation well (or they won’t be able to comment on their short essay questions). You will do well to hand them your responses above so that they will have more to go on. They questions they are asked are similar to these.
