I. Overview - The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (commonly called The Bailout Bill and The American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan of 2009 (commonly called The Stimulus Bill) involved massive amounts of taxpayer dollars into the faltering U.S. economy. However the level of bi-partisan support was drastically different.
