Education for future development Education is all about gaining knowledge about various subjects, things, skills etc. Gaining education depends mainly on schools, interest of children, parents etc. The quality of education refers to the standard and the effectiveness of providing education. We consider schools as the place where the children can acquire quality education. Now let’s move ahead to know about the problems and the role of education for future development. Education in India should be available to all the future citizens of our country. Many children are not able to acquire proper education due to many reasons. Some of them are-
No awareness.
Lack of schools in small villages.
Girls are not allowed to go to schools due to lack of parents cooperation.
Low financial conditions due to which they are not able to pay the fees. Providing quality education to the children has become an elephant task for our government. Many schemes and schools are introduced by our government for the sake of children. But when it comes to implementation, our government is lagging behind. It is not correct to say that it is mistake of government in not providing quality education, but it is also the duty of the people to make their children go to schools and acquire knowledge. Only when the cooperation is from both sides, we can bring a change and make India the best country in terms of literacy rate. When children can acquire quality education, they can become better future citizens of our country and work for the development. It is also clear that development can be seen only when the working population is strong and it can be strong only when the literacy rate among the population is more and it can be more only when there is a chance of providing quality education. It had been an age old practice of not allowing girls to enter schools and restricting them to homes. Not allowing girls to go to schools and gain knowledge is very wrong. Women are like the backbone of family. The work done by them cannot be described or compared with any others. We can stand upright only when our backbone is strong. Similarly family can be strong if women, who act like backbone, are strong. This can be achieved only when they are allowed to gain education and are provided freedom. “If a woman is educated, whole family is educated”. So giving equal importance to women education is also required in order to make India wonderful and developed. As told above, government is also trying its level best to provide effective education and make it available to children. Many schemes are being launched by government. It is spending lots of money for achieving 100% literacy. Many schools have been constructed especially for girls. Many laws have been launched to promote girl child education. Many steps were taken regarding the security of girls. Separate school busses for girls are also allotted in some of the government schools. Government schools have many facilities like-
Providing meals to students.
Computers, maths and science labs.
Good faculty.
Providing text books and school dresses free of cost.
Good infrastructure.
Free education. Even though our government is striving hard to provide quality education, all its efforts are being suppressed as people are not showing any interest towards government schools. One way to bring a good impression in people’s minds is to bring awareness in them about their schemes. So that a fruitful result can be achieved and the government efforts can be successful. Future development is all based on education. It is correct to say that development can be seen only when there is a high literacy rate among the people. Education is like the first step to development. Many huge structures like dams, bridges and even technology depends on education. Good infrastructures can be built only when there is an idea about these structures for which education is a must. Education is like a force which pushes us forward in our life and makes our lives comfortable at the same time plays an important role in developing our country. It is high time now and it is very much needed to bring a change in the people’s mindsets. Providing quality education is the need of the hour. The purpose of education should be understood by the people and realisation is needed. People should be made aware of government schemes by conducting awareness camps. Now it is people’s turn to make their children good citizens of our country. Children can become diamonds in the crown of Bharat Mata only when they are educated and participate in the country’s development. Future development is the only way in improving our country standards. We should all be proud to be an Indian and always strive hard to gain knowledge and work for the nation.
