Edgar Allan Poe
Edgar Allan Poe was an American author, poet, editor and literary critic, considered part of the American Romantic Movement. Best known for his tales of mystery and horror. American practitioners of the short story and is considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre with the worst life background full of tuberculosis cases he was orphaned young when his mother died shortly after his father abandoned the family. He is not only known for his stories and past, but about his quotes that changed the depiction in the minds of his readers. Everything he said had a true meaning that followed.
The quote that stated Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality means that words cannot impress us if not to show us the reality of ourselves In today language Edgar meant that words cannot affect us to hide the truth of ourselves. For this to be said by Edgar Allen Poe could have been predicted. He lived in a life of making choices. This quote describes his life from his birth until his death.
