28 April 2014 What is war?? War can be good to serve and also bad. When I mean good, I mean you or soldiers serving for their countries and then there can be bad war. Now here is an example of good war. In his poem “Dulce el Decorum Est.” Wilfred Owen shows obscene, bitter, and how sick war can be. Its four stanzas are filled with a strong statement that grabs the readers’ attention. “He plunges at me uttering, choking, and drowning” (Ferguson) the poet states. This assertion reflects Wilfred’s life at war, with a guy suffering from a type of gas that does things to your face and asking for help he and other people are at war not because they need to but because they want to. They are serving their country for a good reason. You can tell in the poem because the allied forces attacked them with gas. Now in other cases you can be at war for bad reasons. Here is an example of bad war. Enders game, Enders game is a novel and a movie. I watched the movie. It is about people when they have children the first child goes to training for the war, and after the first child they can no longer have any more children. Now Ender is a person, and in his case, he has a brother and a sister. Now the sister is the oldest. They (the people in charge of the training facility) did not want her because she was too sweet and can never kill a soul. So than the second child came and that was the brother. The brother came out to be very violent and insubordinate, he would kill for fun. So of course, they did not want neither of them both. But then came the third child, Andrew. When Andrew was very young his sister could not pronounce the name Andrew, so she called him Ender. Ender came out to be very normal/average. He wasn’t too sweet but he was not too violent, he did what was right when was right. So they trained him. He became lutenet at the age of fourteen. Bugs were attacking their planet. So Ender went in to training. When he went into
